It's hard to try to find a good guy, cuz good guys don't throw themselves at you. and even if you do manage to find a good guy, the good guy will probably already be dedicated to someone else. You might as well try the lottery, you have a higher chance of winning some money than finding a good guy.

What's depressing is to search for a girlfriend because you can't find any good one among guys! And turn to girls 'cause you don't like the other alternative, not because you are actually attracted by girls.

I mean, it would be less spontaneous, more because of your brain, than our heart or...body ? xD

what I meant was good guys are near impossible to get because there's just too many bad guys, and not only that, they don't stand out unless your lucky enough for them to be interested in you.
But even if you do manage to be lucky enough to notice a good guy among the trashcan of bad guys, there's a high chance he's already with someone else.
Oh by the way, I'm talking about their personalities not the amount of money in their wallets

The second boyfriend, that son of a ***, hmmm, I think I dated him... 2 months before he effed it up. He was so lucky he wasn't home when I came back to get my stuff...

Raynes one and only and still current boyfriend ( LOTS and LOTS of boytoys though )who she has been dating for 3.5 years is named Abhi. He's Indian, and if I don't love him, then by gosh love does not exist in this world. Plus he's really cute <3 in a tan teddy bear kind of way. Oh, and he's also a vegetarian, which makes my life like a million times easier when it comes to going out to eat. Yeah, we argue about certain things (Like how he's always ALWAYS late and I am always ALWAYS early) But the cuddle time outweighs the argue time x10.

Ah never thought i'd be posting here but here goes nothing.

Well, I think I'm in love, but I don't know whether it's really love? I know this is something that many people are asking themselves, but I know too that many people who have found their 'true love' are sure of it.

I always see and hear from everywhere (especially in movies xD), that they tell you to follow your heart and your sixth sense or something. But how exactly do you "follow your heart" and actually know what it tells you? I don't want to sink too deep into this whole 'love' thing unless I'm sure it's going to be something fruitful. In other words, I don't want both parties to be hurt in the end -if- we actually start progressing and then spiral into a deep dark hole which could be prevented if I take a step back now and put some distance.

Somehow it feels like everything's progressing a tad too fast, and I'm starting to feel a bit of fear mixed with happiness? If that makes sense?

Sorry for being so pessimistic but I'm really not the type of person to take a leap of faith. And having almost zero experience in this doesn't make things any better. Oh, and having a heavy workload from school isn't helping either. It's like ARGH I wanna study, get out of my head!

Any thoughts?

On a side note, gosh I so feel like burying myself in a hole right now.

Haha, It's nothing too be too jealous about. When I say 3.5 years I mean off and on. Lol. But he's helped me out a lot in life. Dug me out of my ditch when I was at my lowest, and I thank him everyday of my life for it. Lol, there's someone out there for everyone.

Well, my thoughts on the matter, is that you can still take things slow even after the said "leap of faith" Rayne may be very experienced now, but she didn't start out that way, I'm pretty sure I had a panic attack the first time someone confessed, and nearly fainted the first time I was kissed, but now it's nearly second nature. It's all about getting comfortable with the person. If you can't be comfortable then you won't work, but sometimes it can take time to get comfortable.
As for studying, school should always come first. End of story.

I think the best thing for that, honestly, is talking to them about it. Like, I know it's probably not something that you particularly want to do, and it's something that can take a lot of courage to do. I was in a similar situation, he wasn't my boyfriend, but I liked him very much indeed, and he liked me, we just hadn't gotten to the whole "dating" thing. Anyway, apparently I did something to make him mad and he just like snapped and got really mad at me, and I didn't talk to him for a few weeks after that, but then I started to realize that every time I thought about him or the situation I got really mad. So, I decided to talk it out with him. And I have to say it was probably one of the best things I could have done. I felt better about it, he apologized and felt better about it, and while we never dated (We came close to again) he's still one of my very best friends and someone I can always readily depend on. Like when my car broke down 20 miles away and my boyfriend was out of town -.- He drove to get me.... Anyway, I don't know if it'll turn out the same way for you or not, but it can't hurt to try.

Hahaha, thanks Rayne! But that is never going to happen. He even mailed me that I shouldn't text or anything, since he wouldn't answer anyeay. I just snapped a bit at that moment and completely chewed him out. I felt better only after shopping my heart out. (and my allowance..) and talking to him now, after almost a year. No thanks, I sort of moved on and I just don't feel like going through the trouble again. I'm glad it worked out for you though. :) Besides, I heard he became ugly and fat after he dumped me, so I get my small childish satisfaction off of that ^-^

Haha, well if you've pretty much gotten over it, then there's no reason to worry. Plus you had your childish satisfaction. When you find yourself getting angry about it, just remind yourself that you're better than that and him.
I still find myself getting mad about my boyfriends ex. It was a big, huge, complicated, emotional roller coaster of an ordeal that doesn't necessarily need to be gotten into. Anyway, we were going through some of his old stuff, and there was a spider-man picture that she drew him, and without a word I picked it up, took it outside, got out my lighter, and set it on fire. Lol, so yeah, Rayne is not above petty behavior, and it did make me feel better. Haha, so yeah, I totally understand.

I've had two boyfriends. My first boyfriend I don't even really count as a real relationship because we were just together because it was "cool". Yeah. That was 4th through 7th grade until I was crushing on another guy.

Then after 8th grade I met my current fiance. Who is 6 years old then I. Yes. I was 14 and he had just turned 21 when we met. I know some are like. "OMG NO!! That's so wrong!" But before you go there it's been THREE YEARS and we're still going on strong. I'm moving in with him this summer. :D I truly believe he is my soul mate. We plan on getting married after I finish college. We've had our ups and downs like every couple but we still love each other truly and deeply.

My mom didn't approve of the relationship at first but after a year she started letting him visit and then after my surgery last year she's pretty much decided he is part of the family now.

He is my sweetheart and my love and he has always been there for me and supported me. I just realized that sentence had a lot of "ands."

But I'll stop rambling now.

But seriously! My fiance can't take a hint either. It's gotten to the point that I've just gotta just tell him straight out instead of hinting around it.

I don't think it helps that all girls a different about hinting when they like a guy because we can be different. Some girls will ignore the guy, some will pay special attention to them. Girls can be real confusing sometimes. But so can guys. :p

But I agree with Angel. You'll find someone! Just pay attention! I know some common hints would be a girl laughing. I know I giggled and laughed a lot (even at the not so funny jokes) when I was introduced to my fiance. Fiddling with hair and stuff is also another hint. A girl is likely to have a high/inviting voice and talk soft when interested. Eye contact is key as well.

I could go on buuttt I'll stop rambling. You prolly don't want/need a lecture.
