Are you allowed to play M rated games even when you are underage?

Actually, you can buy them even if you're 16 or younger. They just prefer you to be older because they assume you'll mature to get over with it.
Because the Mature content are usually gory or has nudity and in which could make an underage or even an immature adult think badly by making fun of it or being traumatized over it.

Well in the US of A..well in Florida you have to show ID that you're 17+ it's against the law...which sucks.

I also live in the USA also, Texas for me. The rules are different for us, it's not really require to have a licensed to buy M-Rated games because it's not their business whether they buy it or not, mostly depends on the parent/guardian that buys it.

The people of my country do not care about things like that. As long as they get money from it, they'll sell them even to babies LOL.

in our country, you have to be 18 above if you want to buy them. that's what i know about cigarettes though, don't know of this applies to M-rated vids and games >.>

We have age-laws concerning alcohol, cigarettes, drugs and games, but actually... I never had any problems. Since 10 years old I've been buying my father's cigs, but no one ever minded.

Also here, every Highschooler drinks alcohol, smokes and take drugs right in front of the school (Or within the school). I remember, when I was a highschooler myself, I'd drink my bear during lunch time with my friends, while talking with the policemen assigned to our area.

A law is nothing more than that, if the stores don't give a damn about it. This is why so many children drink/smoke at a young age. (13-14 at least)

Wow... That's mind-boggling really. Smoking was allowed on school property in certain areas, drinking would get you suspended, so we used to do that at our friends' homes.
