Manga which has a good ending

Reading the comments about Ghost Hunt got me thinking... there are so many mangas that end so terribly. What are some of your favourites that end well?

I like:

Special A: it is just so happy!

Gokusen: It grew on me. I wanted more. MORE. And at least there were a few specials, but it was super funny, and it felt right!

GTO: this is another that grew on me! I like the way it ends on a really happy note

Ouran High School Host Club: I was SO HAPPY about the end, especially as I felt the last 3-4 volumes had been very weak

You're So Cool - it was ok, but I mention it because I often find that manwa has the weakest endings that make me want to kick things.

Tokyo Crazy Paradise - I always feel like jumping through the end at the end of this one. It just finishes with such energy!

I have pretty much stuck to shoujo here, but am interested in what series other people thought finished well!

i don't really that I've really been contented with any manga endings before (semi-contented, yes)

There are, but somehow you always end up wanting more... So having an ending isn't always nice.

Fruits Basket did have a very complete ending! I tear up every time I read it ^)^

TONARI NO ATASHI. the ending was completely not what i had expected (maybe i should have seen it coming but there was a pretty long gap between chapters so i couldn't remember every single detail) but REALLY fulfilling. and of course, fullmetal alchemist was amazing. just a masterpiece in and of itself. i really liked the ending of hana to akuma too! very bittersweet and lays down their relationship very clearly.

Kare Kano ended really well. I love it when manga-ka are able to tie their series' loose ends together!

yep. it gives a kind of light feeling and destroy  the "what!? thats all!!?" kind of feeling

I really liked the endings that jump ahead and show you a chapter-ish of their lives after. (Like Ouran or Ultra Maniac). I really liked the ending for Magic Knight Rayearth and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.

I just adore the ending to Love In The Mask, it is just so touching and right.
It is one of my all time favorite stories to read, I keep going back to it. Great story, great art, and a great ending, combining sad and happy.

Yes, I agree with Love In The Mask. The story is so touching. It was the first manhwa I followed the updates like a devoted lover.
