Some of you might know, my name comes from the blobs in the trees in maplestory but... they got rid of the tree!!! the origin of my name is gone T_T waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah it's not fair! 
How could they kill me like that! The slime king is gone too! my avatar!!! iyaaaaaaaaaaaaa 

so anyways, how did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

My original name was L-Angel.
L has various meanings that I don't feel like getting into.
Angel because I love those wings :)

I dropped the L because this looks better

And I used to like Rammstein.

actually, my name originates from maplestory too, LOL. Soraiiya was my IGN when i played back in the day~ originally it was Soraiya (with one I) when i played uhh... dofus for like a week, but then my first character got hacked so i made a new one - Soraiiya! it's been my go-to username for a good seven or so years.

There have been times where I have REALLY wanted to change it, but I think people would still call me Aurelia/Lia. Verdandi is one of the Norns in Norse mythology.  I'm from Norwegian descent, and am really interested in Norse mythology.  My real name is Valerie, so Verdandi is sort of like my alter ego.  I use it for games and other accounts and such as well as here.

My original username was NibbPower ; i came up with this name because Nibb = Noob and just cause we're noobs doesn't mean we don't got power. So that's how I gave up with my name; and its somewhat almost everything I use like DA, Twitter, AU. and some other ones that I don't use as much I use to. (:
I change it to Yuukari, because Yuuki = Snow; which also means what my chinese name stand for. I added the ari put because it sounds cuter and more unique. I actually don't really know what the ari part means. >_<

And again in June - Jan, 7 2013
That was the last time I played, but I know some new information because my brother and some of my friends plays, that's how I get my information. XD
I suggest you not to play, unless you want to take the risk of getting stuck. Nexon is too lazy to fix their glitches, so there are bunches of hackers and glitches in the map. You know those fairy that use to make wedding rings for the male, well they're now event fairies and some of the events are old and are glitches, so the "create a character" they're stuck in the places that the event fairies are in. So its a 50/50 that you won't get stuck, you can try though.
@Lia, well its probably since maplestory is much easier and more things so its more popular than it was back then than it is now. I like the original maplestory, it was more fun. more ways to start your journey, now its just a cheap and lame game. It's still fun, but you have to find good friends. >_<

OT: For the usernames, isn't it best to have it different from your login so that people won't hack your account. It's possible, but not accurate. c:

as for my username, the first one (enil14someone) "enil" came from half of my name. "14" came from my age then. and "someone" was just a word that popped in my mind.

my current username was easier since the word "hidden" and "twilight" just came to mind (i was kinda thinking why there were many word with "twilight" nowadays [i.e "vanilla twilight by owl city and "the twilight" movie]). so I chose the word "Hidden" and added "Twilight" so I got "Hidden_Twilight". pretty much dumb and easy ^^;;.

Middle Earth mythology is pretty awesome, too.  I actually wanted to write my senior thesis in high school on "Mapping Middle Earth" to apply it as though it were our history, but I was told I had to do something 'real' so I ended up researching mental illness.

Basically, anything with Lore (and languages!) is cool.  I like WoW for this reason...

This is my personal opinion, but I think it's useless to have a username that isn't an actual name of some sort.  It's difficult enough to keep people straight when they use very different names in the chatbox than the forum, but having a symbol instead of a word as your forum username is pointless.  It's cute, but usernames aren't there to be decorative, they are there for people to know who you are and what to call you.  If you want to be cute and decorative, that is what your signature is for.

Like I said before, I don't want a username that same exact thing as my log-in ID. Because then people would figure it out later. I never thought of it as cute or decorative, I just thought that it works. That's all, nothing wrong with testing new functions you'd never tried it before. Because not all communities works, so I was testing if it works. And as Angel said before, if I was forced to change it to a proper username, I would and I'll post in here. Since I'm no longer a "staff", so I cannot post in the "staff" section. If you thought I was just getting attention with my creative username, then you're wrong at that. I don't need attention, because it's not necessary at this point.

I never said that at all.  Sorry if you got offended, but I didn't mean it that way.  I also don't have a problem with anyone testing the available functions, and it's not my decision to make what sort of usernames people may use.  I wasn't even trying to be harsh, and I sure as hell didn't mean it personally.

All I said was that it doesn't make sense to have a username that isn't a name since it makes it difficult for others.  I was simply adding another bit of perspective to the discussion.

I got my name from a friend on steam; her name is Michelle. She gave me the nickname because she wubbs me c:

I've always liked the name "Rose" since I was a child. At one point I had told my parents that when I turned 18 I was going to legally change it to "Rose". 

Well in about 7th or 8th grade my best friend and I are started writing a fanfiction for FullMetal Alchemist. Our two OCs were kind of our alter egos and they get 'transported' in FMA because they were screwing around one night and made a transmutation circle that actually worked. This is the first in our Supernatural series. We have like 3 or 4 stories planned that all interlink. From Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, to Death Note, to Fruit Basket. It's really neat actually.

Anyways. So in the FMA story my character ends up becoming a State Alchemist so that her and her friend can do more research and find their way back home. She ends up becoming the CrimsonRose Alchemist. So I went by 'CrimzonRoze' or "CrimzonRozeAlchemist" for awhile because it was neat and having the "z" in there was cool and different.

I use to play horse sim games and I'd brand my horses as "Roze" after awhile I got tired of CrimzonRozeAlchemist and decided to change it to something that I liked better but I wanted to keep the 'Roze" part. So I really liked white roses so it became "WhiteRozePetals" and I was that for awhile, now I've kinda dropped off the "White" and "Petals" and have become "`Roze`" as I feel it's a bit more mature and everyone online I go knows me as "Roze" I still keep "WhiteRozePetals" on other sites were "`Roze`" is taken or is too short/not allowed/etc but I don't like it as much anymore. It seems childish now that I'm older. But it's hard to get away from because everyone knows me as it.
