Due to overwhelming Cbox pressure [you know who you are >:)] I shall put some standard Dutch things here and try to teach you guys something. Questions and requests for more things will be answered and put in :D

(How) Nice to see you again = (Wat) Leuk om je weer te zien
It has been a long time since we spoke = Het is lang geleden dat we gesproken hebben

I don't speak much Dutch = Ik spreek geen Nederlands
Do you speak English? = Spreek je Engels [you can also just say it in English, they will understand]
My name is... = Mijn naam is... / Ik heet...
What are you doing (right now)? = Wat ben je (nu) aan het doen?
How are you? = Hoe gaat het met je?

You know how in spanish there are two ways to say "I love you" and each has a different meaning? Is there something similar in Dutch? I find that sooooo interesting!

I know that in Spanish there are two ways, it is really cool, but in Dutch there is no such thing...

If I had to say somethings it would be the friendly: luvya (yes, in English) which girls use amongst themselves and the real: 'Ik hou van jou' for lovers.
