Well, I wasn't planning on (ever) posting in this section, but I was going through my photobucket today and found the one manga coloring that went (fairly) decently for me and figured I'd add to the mix. I dare not say just how long this picture took me... I'm a slowpoke on normal things; trying something for the first time takes at least a zillion times longer.

Also... this was probably ~4 years ago, while I was a lurker on a different manga forum... (Epic Lurker, that's me!)

Anyway!  Here it is!  The character is Vera from Veritas, if anyone is familiar with the manga.  If I find any more fun things in the bucket, or if I actually start attempting to color again, I'll post them here as well. :3

Tear the late, lazy, lethargically lively, little, lurking, talent. I'm not good at giving commentary on art (which is why I don't post here normally) but first off, Vera is a sexy beast, and secondly, it looks freaking awesome! You should post here more :)

Depending on free time, I might study ShineyShiney's gorgeous work attempt this again sometime this summer. >.<

Lily's right, nice coloring! But darken the shadows a bit. :D

Wow! That's really good. I love the background. Some suggestion though when you did the blonde's hair not all the edges seem to have been darkened like they should have been. It's lighter and at a quick glance it made me think that you didn't cut it all the way out. But then again this is four years old. Also the shading seems a little too dark and abrupt in some areas. I'd suggest smudging it out a bit.

But otherwise compared to you and most of everyone on here, i suck at coloring manga. 

I need to find some tutorials on how to do it so good.
Any suggestions?
