That's a depressing way of thinking...

You can do a lot with $5, that's 15+ packets of ramen or 2 really good chocolate bars or 20 gumballs or a sandwich at a restaurant or 12 ferrero rocher balls or a couple of rented movies or a new shirt or a couple of songs off iTunes or a pint of hagendaaz ice cream or a cheap but pretty piece of jewelery or...
