Talk about games (video games, board games, card games, the whole sha-bang).

So, who has played Paper Mario? (Either the Wii version or the .......other version)

I never really played Mario before, just a few times here and there. XD
But here's a bunch of old games that I really enjoyed before technology grew.
-Snake and Ladder
-Old Maid/Donkey
-Happy Family
-Monopoly
-Five stones (Or four.)
-HOPSCOTCH!
-Eraser game... We used to have bags of erasers with the flags of different countries printed on it, and start to battle with other friends. So we all try to flip our eraser onto each others' and the first person to do that gets to win both erasers. XD
-Snap
-Uno (I was soooo happy when my parents got me an uno deck xD)

Later on, I was probably playing with:
-Yu-gi-oh card games
-Pokemon card games
-Gameboy COLOR XD and I had so many games to play on that small square screen.
-Games like Gunbound/Maplestory and the like/Warcraft/Diablo etc etc

Then it became stuff like:
-PSP
-Nintendo DS
-Wii << My friend bought one so sometimes I go over to play XD
-Still more computer games o_o

Yup. Sorry I took up so much space. Got carried away while reminiscing about the past.

lol, I recently got the new Monopoly. Yeah, the one with credit cards.
At first, I was: "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I SHALL NEVER PLAY THISSSSS~ THIS IS SACRILEGIOUS!!!!1!1!!!11!"

But my parents bought it for my birthday, so...I ended up playing it.
...
It's pretty darn cool. The only thing I really hate about it is the bicycle song that plays. =_= I don't really feel like explaining the songs, so I'll just leave it at that.


Why do I feel that we're at the period of time where we can only produce remakes of the old stuff (in movies, games, books, etc.)?
All the original ideas have been taken, I guess...
