Editor/Cleaner/Typesetter

Actually, I would like to apply as either an editor, cleaner or typesetter, but I'm completely new to this. So I'm wondering, how long will the training take? I want to help out during my year-end school holidays but I'm not sure whether I have enough confidence to take the training. I have some experience in photoshop, that's all. If I think I have enough confidence, I will apply this mid-year November (after my exam) if you need help in editing,cleaning or typesetting.

We can never have enough editors! The more the better~ 
Ahh yes exams T_T  Training actually takes a few weeks because sometimes it might take a week for staff to reply, and then another week for the trainee to reply back, etc. So on average, training takes about a month or so. It depends on what you're training for, how quickly you learn, how quick the replies are, etc.

So if you're interested, please take the test and try out ^^ What we're mainly looking for is not skill, but dedication. We want people who are willing to learn and willing to stick around and edit chapters once they're done with their training :D If you have dedication, then I believe you will be a great addition to the team~ I hope you'll try the editing test after your exams are done xD Good luck on your exams!

Actually I have a request, can you give me some uncleaned scans for me to practice on? I looked in the internet and I wanted to try it out before the training so I won't waste much on your time >< Doing stuffs like this reduce my stress 

Even thought my exam is in another 1 week, I'm still slacking here  Whenever I open my textbook, I stare at it for awhile and close it. Never had the mood to read those damn long notes. 

I hope my request on getting a few uncleaned scans won't be too much

Yeah no problem! I'll PM you a link with some practice pages for you to try out. Would you prefer to have some random ones or would you like the actual editing/training package?
