I didn't like the manga because the main char annoys me...A LOT.
It got long and annoying to the point i dropped it.

i even made my sis read it xD , she made me went kyaaa~ all over again....

the manga is nice and i didn't really find the main char annoying , maybe Yoh a lil bit ( hope i got the name right ) sometimes and yeah the ending can be somewhat called sad since its a distance relationship or whatever its called , not sure , but overall the characters are good , especially Asaoka , imo it was worth reading it

I really liked this manga! It was super sweet. However, like a lot people have said, the main character was annoying. I first read a few chapters of it and then I dropped it because she annoyed me. But then a few months later I read it again and everything else was really good and I kind of got used to the main character.

Koukou Debut
is possible the SWEETEST and cutest shoujo out there.
It's got first loves, and just a ton of pure
Shoujoness. One of my first shoujos and it's truly very touching...

it was great totally, just that if i remember accurately i didn't like some parts of it... probably the ending....i always have problems with the ending of some shoujo mangas.....they rushed it or it wasn't good.

I think I liked it because it was simple and without a motherload of drama stuffs I geuss? And the art was enjoyable for me too.

As a guy I enjoy a slightly different art style in shoujou and view differently drawn guys as handsomw if you get what I mean?

And if theres too much drama or stuff thats too complicated for me I either get bored or it becomes unbelievable.

So i geuss I'm looking for simple but sweet stories ^^

haha High School Debut is one of my fav mangas ;) I've read it about 4-5 times already ;P I downloaded it on ipod so when I have nothing to do in a bus or sth I'm reading it from the beginning ;) But it's a shame that there are no more chaps cuz I love loong series like Skip Beat!, Special A, the Wallflower, Tokyo Crazy Paradise, Furuba etc <3<3
And HS Debut has a very good point - the plot isnt so complicated ;) I don't like love triangles or confusion 'which guy to choose' like e.g. Boarding House of Hunks...

I hated how it ended, what with the big virginity crisis and all. But overall, SUCH a sweet manga.

I listened to the anime like a radio show, the art was just painful. I understand, Icey, I understand...
But no, it was one of those things you just watch obsessively in one sitting, and then once it's over you're like "what the hell even happened? T.T" and then you laugh at how stupid it was.
Peach Girl was really fun though, I suggest you try it! XD
Everyone was so depressed, and physcotic, and backstabbing, and sex-addicted, and suicidal...Personally, I hated the characters so much I just watched to the end to see them suffer. That and I never really knew what the ending was going to be. Stupid, I know. I should have guessed from the TITLE T_T
Scratch that, it was all just angst. Lots and lots and lots of angst stuffed into a HS show - A softer version of School Days.

Sae's Story from the same author of Peach Girl was quite amusing as well. Angsty :)
