Personally, I never liked the shading I did on that because of how messy it looked. =_=;

Ooh, by the way... I got a Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet recently, so I've been experimenting with digital art (using the software program Sai). I might finally have color in my work.

Well few people can shade well with a pencil. It's good that you can. [Me and pencils don't get along so well so thank God for Photoshop]

Yeah, I hope to get something presentable done, but I'm too busy fooling around with the settings in Sai to do anything serious. But one day! One day I'll draw something worthwhile!

I like the first one. I like the lines. And I agree with Shinne-chan about the shading. Have you tried going darker than that? And the last one: good body position.

Shading with a pencil is tricky for me, especially since my natural pencil grip is very light. The shading I did on that phoenix is the best I've done on any drawing. ^^; I'm always afraid to go darker because I mess up often.

Don't be afraid. You can always erase it--though there is a point you can't erase because it's so dark. And you can try using a darker pencil -- like 4B or something. Just try it out.

I dug a set of sketch pencils out from who-knows-where. It has a whole set of different grade pencils from 4H to 6B. I'll experiment to see what works best for me.

I like your first and second one the best. I think that you have incorporated wonderful ideas into your drawings, probably by adding a caption you would capture the viewers' minds. I highly suggest you publish some of your artwork, so that you have more of a motivation to promote your good work. I think that your shadowing technique is very advanced.

Well, in terms of motivation, I'm actually starting to get more into art lately (even though I actually have less free time due to school).
I've started a silly little 100 Themes Challenge thing...

OH, MY GOSH. I forgot to upload the digital art I did about a week ago!
