I know most of us here are not from/in the same country, but surely all of us have heard of the anti-government protests in Egypt, Jordan, Libya, etc right? If you do not, I suggest you learn of the world outside your living sphere.

It's at times like these that I wish I was a superhero, that I wish I could help solve some problems, instead of just sitting here and thinking about it. :( . I mean most of the time I'm even unaware that events such as this are taking place because I live a sheltered life in the USA, where democracy rocks. Though sometimes I do agree that it isn't the most profittable type of government, the people are happy to be a part of something.

I've heard about it. It's kind of impossible to ignore big events like that on Yahoo. >_<

Personally, I don't enjoy politics, and I find it all confusing. I do try and have a general idea of what's going on though I still end up kind of ignorant. To be fair, I did try. But the news got too depressing to read everyday, so yeah...

I think it's admirable to want to be a "superhero". Who doesn't? But the way I see it, even if you can't do big events like that...you can do small events which add up. Simple things are simple. And they go a long way. So, just helping someone pick up a book he dropped or something--I think even that helps. Or lending an ear to a friend. Because you never know who that someone might be. A single action, a single change. Eh, maybe that's a bit too idealistic. .__.

As unhelpful as this is, I think that the revolution is pretty awesome. :)

Aha, I did see the picture of the bread man while watching phillip defranco XD. A bad habit I know! I think the theme song for sonic colors would be a very inspirational song for the younger generation of libya (which they have a lot of!) to have them rally too. But moderately for their "leader" is sending out foreigners to destroy protesters >_>.

I would rather be an assassin than a superhero(assassins get paid), but if I had to choose a superpower, I would have extreme speed and a mastery of all weapons. I'd probably just use blades, though :F

I was reading an article this morning and then the comments, and everybody was just expressing their sympathy/well wishes and a Japanese lady wrote about how she could feel world's support and it was enough to bring you to tears. And the nuclear reactor situation is really scary too. If anybody can contain it though, I'd bet on the Japanese.

The tsunami in Japan was so terrible! It destroyed so much, and the backlash hit Hawaii and the East Coast from California to Alaska, from what I've heard. I'm praying for everyone that had to suffer through that.

I want to like slap them for fighting over a goddam island full of oil but i guess its good to fight over it. But why can't they come to an agreement of taking part of the island; like sharing. :3 China has too much already, so I believe Japan should take it.
