Mafia - Night Two

Well, this is another game.
I'm not sure if you know the common version of mafia, but there's a more complicated version played on forums. Don't know if you know it or not.

Rules
Bascially, in normal mafia, you have two mafia, who are scum, and the rest of the people are town. There are two phases. Night and Day. (not in correlation to real time day and night.)
Bascially, during the day, everyone votes on someone to kill. There is discussion among the players, and they decide to 'lynch' the person who you feel has the highest chance of being mafia. The mafia tries to stay alive during the day. You are lynched when you have a majority of people voting for you. Anyone can vote, no matter what the role. Only vote once.
At night, the mafia choose someone to kill. The next 'day', someone is announced dead, and discussion once again resumes until someone else is lynched. The game ends when either all the mafia or all the townies are dead.
The forum version is slightly more complicated, wherein there are a few extra roles introduced. These include Doctor, Cop, Mason, Serial Killer, and so on. There is a moderator, who hands out all the roles, and who the people with roles will PM at night with their decisions on who to kill, etc. Here are a description of the roles.

Townie - you can vote for who you want to lynch during the day, but you have no special privileges in the night. You are GOOD.
Mafia - Every night, you choose someone to kill. You PM the mod with your decision. during the day you try to blend in with the town. If there is another mafia, you collaborate with them. Mafia (no matter how many people are mafia) can only kill one person per night. you are EVIL.
Cop - At night, you can choose one person to investigate. You PM the mod with your decision, and the mod will PM back telling you if they are good or evil. you are GOOD.
Doctor - Every night, you can choose one person to save. You PM the mod with your decision, and that person can not be killed during that one night. This does not, however, save someone from being lynched the next day.

There are more roles, but these are the basic roles, and we can start off with these, and if it works, we can add more complicated roles.

Is anyone interested? I think we need about 6 ppl to play, because there are two mafia, a cop and a doctor, + two townies. That's sort of the basic setup.

If anyone is confused (because I'm really bad at explaining), then just ask. okay...I think this is all the basic stuff.

EDIT: let's make the number of players 7. Odd numbers are nice for majority votes. ^^

Well, we can start the game, there should be enough people. It's just that with 7 people, four people would be the majority. And with 6, there game could be completely divided with 3 on one side and 3 on the other. It could still work...

JOKING, JOKING! Roles handed out will be completely up to chance.

EDIT:
I'm giving everyone a role. The roles are:
Mafia
Mafia Roleblocker
Serial Killer
Doctor (two of them)
Cop

Red is evil green is good. Once you have received your roles, discussion can start.

Mafia roleblocker works with mafia to kill one person each night. The mafia roleblocker also has the ability to 'block' one person each night from performing their role. E.g. Mafia roleblocker could block Tammy. If Tammy was doctor then that means that if Tammy saved someone it wouldn't be counted. Btw, I don't tell you if you get roleblocked.

Serial Killer does the same thing as mafia, killing one person each night. But they work alone. Serial Killer can kill mafia and mafia can kill serial killer.

Please let me know if there are any problems.

Lol, yeah, you start random voting now to lynch someone.
once someone has been lynched, or if a no-lynch vote has been reached, or it reaches the deadline, then it goes into night phase.
Keep in mind that the objective is to kill the people against you.
Good tries to lynch evil.
Mafia tries to get everyone else lynched.
Serial Killer tries to get everyone else lynched too.

So, right now, it's Xye and Wongi currently leading with two votes each. It is interesting to see how each of them is voting for the other. Now that everyone has cast their vote, how will things proceed? Why am I saying this? Well, because I have no idea either. If there is no actual discussion that is going to happen, then I suppose we could go with a no-lynch, and move the deadline forward and start 'night one', where, the next day, there might be something to discuss about as you will have more information (i.e., dead people) I think I am making no sense now. :P

Well, this game can take a lot of time. It will end when all the bad guys or all the good guys are dead. So, no one can actually tell when will we start the next round(?).

This time it only takes three votes to lynch. One more vote for either Yume or angelwriter and they're dead.

@Zain - normally, you're not supposed to talk, but this time, what the heck. Go ahead. Unless you want me to tell you the roles, after which you can't talk. Well you can, you just can't discuss who to kill.

Do you guys have reasons to vote for these people?
Here's a quick summary of day two:
Xye immediately votes angelwriter, and seems relativvely certain that she is evil. Yume also votes for angelwriter.
Werr then comes along and immediately votes Yume. Angelwriter also votes for Yume, not voting for Xye.
And last is Mithril, who hasn't voted yet.

I know I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but here it is anyway:
If you lynch someone, and it turns out to be good, then there will be one good person left and you'd better hope that the mafia and serial killer go an kill each other. But the good person would know who was evil.
If the person you lynch is evil, then you should examine the people who didn't vote for the evil one, as they have a higher chance of being their partner in crime.
The cop is the only one who knows for certain who is good/evil.
Keep an eye out for pairs that seem to be working together.
Mafia, it is possible to suicide, or vote for your partner.

And sorry, but two more things:
1. You can unvote.
2. Serial killer, you can choose to be temporarily good and kill off the mafia first before targeting the townies. Just saying. ;)

Well if you'd like to try and balance it a bit, you could give out clues (well, that's how I played the game in another forum).
As in give clues to everyone about who the bad/good guys may be. You may also give individual clues to the cop about who the mafia is, but I think it depends on the amount of people playing. Just a suggestion to somewhat even things.
