Hi there this is aki! I'm new in this translating business but you can say chinese is my native language and I'm fluent in english too! (at least that's what I would like to think...) So hopefully there's not many hiccups here and there. Hope this will be a wonderful experience for both me and you all, cheers!

btw, I'll only be translating a specific series for now. I may consider translating other series but that really depends on my passion, so since I'm new with this I can't be sure! sorry><;;

I'm actually an artist, known as hikarinosekai on deviantart and quirkilogical on youtube. aki11 on pokespeanime forums (I usually don't go for the shoujo route, but this series is really the exception. so I'm pretty sure no one heard abt me, not that I'm popular anyway...)

so enough bragging on my side, can't wait to translate some stuff!>W<

Welcome! Yeah, the readers are missing out on alot of good stuff since the manga translation isnt anyway near chapter 86... i read the chinese raws too, on a two week basis so that technically i don't have to wait that long ^^

I've just asked xye if I could translate chapter 30 (since nancy hasn't pmed me yet), she gave me the okay so I'll start with the translations if no one minds it kay?^^;

I actually wanted to help with typesetting but since there's a test to past I'll put it off till a later date then, maybe until I've gotten used to the environment here... (everything looks sorta foreign to me here for nowXD; )

I see I seeXDD Well chinese raws are more available in our country as compared to other countries I guessXDD (not counting other chinese speaking countries like taiwan, china because they are usually not as bilingual) And most of us speak and use both english and chinese so it helps a lot, I'm surprised but at the same time not really lolXDD

Which chapter did you translate?

Go to > Transcendence > Staff Only > Projects > Switch Girl!!

and take a look. If the chapter you translated isn't one of the topics there, just create a new topic named "Volume X Chapter X" (fill in the Xs with your chapter). Attach your translated word doc / txt in your post in that topic and the ProofReader for Switch Girl will get on it soon.

There is no fixed format for your translations, as long as it is well organised and easy to read and to tell which text goes to which bubble/spot, then it's fine. (:

I just follow charmy's format, (the thing that she posts on every chapter , like i do now ^^) for translations.
I guess i'll have to leave switch girl to you, since i'm busy too

at where? I think you should ask nancy first.. maybe there is still chapters undone like chapter 26-29 .. we have to get them done before moving on to 30 because the sequence gets a bit messy.

@disturbance: haha no cert in NIE, only cert in O levels lolXDD I've pmed her abt the chapter, well I guess for now I'll wait a lil then=w=;; 

I registered as a relief teacher through moe site (just google it), once you got the approval you're allowed to approach schools and ask them if they are looking for relief teachers>W< (ps: damn high pay for me, $65-$200 a day/ $11-$36 per hr. worked like 7 hrs a day so it's like $9++ per hour and quite slack also=w=; *no lesson will stay in staff room rot**shot* okay I do assessments and such to prepare myself lol)

@icewing: haha it's kinda coolXDD Attended a meeting out of the blue for the maths department and it's kinda fun to join in the discussion and all *even though she's totally not a maths person**shot*
