When you first read a manga and then a new anime comes out, aren't you EXCITED?? well, I AM. 

but then......the beautifully epic drawings of the manga......suddenly turn BORING and PLAIN in the new anime. 

i was REALLY disappointed with kaicho wa maid sama's Usui Takumi. even though the plot was good. xD

LOLOLOLOL RIGHT HERE! I dislike the hair as well! -Highs Five- But I still watch it because it's still Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! after all... His hair only looked good during the ending song in my opinion.

Well, it's anime... the art always end up being different from the manga because they are usually drawn by different artists and not the mangaka. So I never expect much from the art~

There are exceptions when the anime art is better than the manga... ex: Full Metal Alchemist (Brotherhood too) anyone? LOL

Lmao all this ranting about anime. Well just watch it for the sake that its animated*. In my opinion it's better to watch or read the first that came out (meaning if the manga came out first, it would be smarter to read it then watch anime and vise versa.)

Also anime usually kill the original art/story line of the manga so if you are going to watch an anime... at least expect one of them or both to happen. LOL Like I mentioned already, they are not drawn by the mangaka so it's hard for anime producer to copy the style of someone else (it would be great if Makoto Shinkai made all the anime LOL). And come on, I heard that its 12 drawings (or more) for every second of the anime... so it's a time consuming job and gets repetitive really fast. That's another reason why they rush stuff sometimes. XD

Whatever just watch it and enjoy the comedy/animation. Anime is anime and manga is manga we can't compare these two lightly XD Anime and manga both have their pros and cons!

I typically watch anime first, because I can't seem to watch an anime that I've read the manga of.

The only anime I typically enjoy is... original series or novel series turned anime. Anime of a manga or manga of an anime usually ends up in boredom for me. I just normally don't have the patience to watch an anime of a manga if I've read the manga. The only times would be when I want to watch an animated version in expectation of uber fight scenes. ;D!

Actually, I preferred FMA to FMAB, but then again, i saw the anime before I read the manga. Additionally, the first time I read the manga it was in chinese... THat, and I feel like FMA did certain scenes better than FMAB. But thats just my opinion.
