Heh. I wish I could a blame a chef rather than my own stupidity.

The blu-tack incident happened when I was 12. It was a small piece of blu-tack my friend and I had used as play-doh. After having our grimy hands on it the whole day, we finally molded it into a curry puff (some kind of pastry), coloured it with highlighters and drew on it with pens. It was disgustingly dirty. After that I left it on my desk. Later that night, I went to my room to grab something and didn't bother to turn on the lights. I was eating a biscuit at the same time, and as I leaned over my table, I accidentally dropped my biscuit. So I groped about the table and found something that was the same size as my biscuit. And, without even checking, I popped it straight into my mouth. It took me about a second before I realised that something didn't taste right.

The beetle incident happened 6 years after the blu-tack one, but it was almost the exact same thing; I was sitting in the corner of my room reading a book and eating seaweed. I dropped a small piece of it but didn't want to take my eyes of my book. So I glanced quickly at the floor where I dropped it, saw something vaguely seaweed coloured, PICKED IT UP, and popped it into my mouth. I didn't even realise anything was wrong until I crunched on it and was like, "Wait... it's a bit too crunchy." AND THEN IT POKED MY TONGUE WITH ITS LEG! D:

I don't even know how I managed to confuse a beetle with seaweed. It was a pretty big beetle (bigger than my thumb).

Lol. In 6 years I went from confusing a piece of blu-tack with a biscuit to confusing a beetle with seaweed. I guess I just get smarter the older I get.

Weirdest things:
A bug and blu-tack.

I didn't actually swallow either of them.
Just put them in my mouth and crunched around. (Unintentionally of course!)
