kinda curious. if there are "scanlators" for manga. are there "dubbers" or "subbers" (gome, I don't know what to call the dubs and subs :swt: ) for anime? ???

Angel~

Yes there are, they are generally the same as manga scanlation groups I think, but then they work with anime.

If you pay attention at the end of every episode you see things like: Translator =.... Timer=.... etc

I wonder if theyre paid? (since making subs seems pretty hard)

Angel~

I don't think so, I think they are the same as we are: dedicated people who love it enough to dedicate their time to the art~

`Shally.

I just found out from my older brother that my first anime was ACTUALLY an anime called Super Pig or something like. The girl would transform into a fat pig and when she fly, it aint that high.
Ok, the human girl is the protagonist normal form human form. When she transforms, the pig is her. XD

Holy moly, it's an old anime. With wonderful great qualities for some reason.
Title Super Pig | Ai to Y?ki no Piggu G?ru Tonde B?rin | Pig Girl of Love and Courage
Manga Author:  Taeko Ikeda
Broadcast: September 9, 1994 - August 26, 1995
Description:Karin Kokubu (Kassie Carlen) is late for school one day when she comes across an apparently injured yellow pig. It turns out the pig wasn't injured but just hungry, and he gets back his health when he eats Karin's apple. When Karin gets to school, she discovers that the pig has stowed away in her backpack which causes her more trouble. Later, she meets the pig again and finds out he can talk and fly. The pig gives her a "Dream Tonpact" which she opens and a pig snout appears from it and attaches itself to her nose! She finds the pig again who explains that he is actually Prince Tonrari?no III (Iggy Pig) of the planet Buuringo. He tells her how she can transform: by saying "BA BI BU BE BOorin!" she transforms into a superpowered pink piglet called Justice Buurin (Super Pig). This is not something Karin is happy about at all as she'd rather transform into a heroine like her idol the henshin hero tokusatsu character "Cutey Chao" (who is possibly a reference to Cutey Honey). Tonrari?no (who she calls Ton-chan) tells her if she can collect 108 pearls by doing good deeds as Buurin, she can do so. The pearl collection operates on karma meaning if Buurin abuses her powers, she will lose pearls.

I thought that would help out, if you guys actually watched it before. I must have been 6 or something that I watched this, but still wow it looks funny. I think I would love to watch it again.
edit: omg, just by reading this. This anime reminds me of Wedding Peach >:O OMG, its like almost everything is alike the freaky animal thing giving her magic power to save the world. Wow...its like the almost exact same thing

Fullmetal Alchemist. The original, not Brotherhood. And still one of my all time favorites.

I think, Voltes V?...then I watch Transformer and Sailor Moon, I saw Dragon Ball Z and Time Quest in other channel.

Anime is not that popular when I was little, Voltes V is a robot...I think, Power Rangers is popular that time haha

Yeah' I like FMA too...but I prefer Brotherhood. I have a DVD of original FMA and I've watch some episodes of it but I'm not yet finish.
