in our country, we have laws that protect students from abusive teachers. in fact, we have too many of them. the students are really protected that when they harm teachers, the teachers cant do a thing. like one time when a student (dunno who) choked one of his teachers. because the law states that teachers cannot harm students, the poor teacher couldn't file a case.


though i really hate crappy teachers, i really pity that poor teacher who couldn't do anything to protect himself because of those laws.

I think a lot of teachers get "burned out" after teaching for so long that it's just boring/uninteresting to them and they really don't care about their students. Whereas other people are totally different. I have one professor who in like his 50s and he is totally willing to help out and stuff.

I also think it depends on where they teach. If it's a more prestigious school they might be under a lot of pressure. Where as I go to a two year college and everyone is fairly laid-back and stuff. I don't think the teachers get too much pressure from their higher-ups.

The last college I went too all the teachers insisted on being called by their first name instead of Mr. lastname or Professor lastname. The current college that I'm at now never insist on it but they don't mind it either.

I think highschool teachers get burnt out a lot quicker then college professors. They have to deal with roudy teenagers that never listen. 

I know back when i was still in public highschool it'd take 10 maybe 20 minutes to even get the class settled down enough that the teacher could talk over everyone.

It's different for my school [im in high school]. The teachers here are laid back because we're suppose to be a prestigous school. So we're supposely smarter than other high schoolers.
Well I can name a lot of teachers who don't care about teaching and who does. Teachers are once students, and they had tougher life than we did. So you can't really argue about that. And they didn't have information and access to internet like we did. So their life is already burned out by the time it reaches to teaching others. It's like a phone/laptop/whatever. They're 100% charged and ready when they were students, but when they became teachers; its like about 30 ~ 40%. After teaching for so many years, it decreases to like 20%. Plus family if they have any, just decrease more percentage. And they probably have like 5% of energy left to care to teach.

What bugs me the most is why people have to stay mad so long.

I really like the outdoors but I really like my bed and blankets too, I also like a good cooked meal.

Well my aunt got mad at me and my mom is taking her side instead of mine that is why I am have been in  the barn

bugs me the most:
     set aside the things to do later then go and cram over things since its almost deadline. (i should fix my time management...)

I don't see how that results in you having to sleep in the barn though... That is such an unreasonable punishment!

My sister in law, brothers and I were eating and we were talking about people who bump into you and tells you "Excuse you" when they're the one that bumped into others.
Those people bug me the most, I didn't do anything wrong and yet I'm the bad guy. -.-

@ pau my aunt wanted me to hook up with her friends one at a time and I told her that I was never going to do that. Then my aunt got mad and told my mom how I could make big money by doing this. Then my mom got mad that me for not taking an easy job and easy money

no everyone wants my sister to play music for a living since she is really good, but my aunt and mom think that I have nothing that will make me money

Most of my family is crazy, messed up, or control freaks. I think my sister and me are the only "normal" ones.

I agree with angel. in fact, if dandii was here she'd tell you to do something! (i think she posted it in one of your threads? ). when there's a problem between family members. they don't just let it be. they confront it. we'll, thats what my family does.
