It's not a matter of male pride. It's just really weird thinking about other people I don't know seeing my picture. It's creepy. Plus, I've had someone use my face in a fake account before and that did it for me. It's the reason why I'm twitchy about people saving/downloading my pic in the first place.

no, no it is not. your smart jess. you're also kind. just because your mother told you to marry someone doesn't mean you should obey. you deserve more than that. your mother is just too old to realize it.

About the questions on the dating, it's to protect you. What if something bad happens to you? And your mom don't know where you are or who you with? And you end up either bieng kidnapped, raped, murdered, or whatever the cases are. I do agree with Angel & Vaux, not all people are controlling; you just need to find those people. They maybe controlling at first, but its probably to protect you from harm. But those are do it for good are not the controlling ones, but those who do it for bad are the controllers.
My family always ask me those same questions, Jess. When I want to hang out with friends, I have to tell them: Whose going? Where you're going? What time when you be home? What's the person's name, gender, age, and race/nationality/ethnicity? How I met them? Do my brother know them? And so on. 
Because eventually this will wear off after awhile. Usually parents like it if they meet the friend and get to know that person. And after awhile they won't ask that question. They would just ask who you'll be with and you're free. As long as they know that you're safe with that person and that the person is not some bad person.
I know that it's weird for your age to still have a controlling mom, but like I said, to her, you're still her little girl or baby or small child. That's why mothers are overprotective on their children [well most of them are].

So, I go to someone's house and clean, wash, cook, do their homework, and if I do something they do not like or do something without their promention they tell my mom how I am a no good loser and I never go to that person's house again I get moved to other. I am not sure how this is "hang out" with people, but it gets me out of my house.
