Before I ask about this and well I want an honest answer this time.
Last time most of the "Retired" staff said that Editor was easy (OMG it was sooo not easy, I had to keep on re-doing it over and over; but got better and worser each time).
So now I want to know, which is easier to do? I know that they all need photoshop except translator & scans provider. But I also heard that Proofreader don't need one actually, but its preferably needed.

Basically, I want to learn something new. I already tried Cleaning. I made it too bright...

So, now I want try something that don't exactly NEED a photoshop; because if it does...then the only time I can do it is at school but it has adblock so I'll have to download the stuff at home secretly (grounded).
And no, I will not apply for artist staff again, since there's no need for that anymore.

To be honest, every job here that you apply for is difficult in it's on way. The important thing is that you look for what you are good or have a knack for. Your position should be something you enjoy doing! Scanlation is a hobby first and foremost! :3

That's not to say you can't always learn to be good at something. But in that case, it's important that you put in the time and work, and that you are very dedicated. Especially since if someone trains you, you take up their time as well. If you don't have photoshop you can try QCing or Proofreading, but those also have skills required that can be difficult to some people. All positioms require some degree of dedication however. Hence, I really stress that it's important to find something you love doing or you are good at.

As an editor myself, I won't say Editing is easier than any other job. But it is easier to people who have a good eye, are good with a mouse/computer, AND most importantly listen and learn quickly. People who pick things up easily. And to go through training, people with willpower to see it through. For myself, it was worth it. I really love my position.

Thanks for giving me a detail information. Well for the quality checker and proofreader, is it possible to just try them both to see how it is? If it still don't work, then I can just try cleaning practices again. I know a little of typesetting, except I was still in training mode. I know you have to be dedicated in your work, but since I'm so bored and well, just sitting here won't do anything good.

Well we're tight on staff right now, but if you can find someone with enough time to spare and an admin approves it it MIGHT be possible.

Though I think it would be better if you just interviewed a staff and see if the position is something you'd like to do!  ^_^

We're tight on staff right now, but we actually have enough proofreaders and we don't have anyone available to train QCers, so...

If you could work on cleaning again, though, that would really be great, as we could really use some extra cleaners.

Alright, I'll stick on cleaning for now. First, I would like to have the test and practices download and saved onto my flashdrive. So I can do them in school, even though it may take a while for me to send it. Secondly, I need to find me a cleaner trainer. :D As for qcer, I can just find some random website and practice on it; and i'll come back to here once i understand the knowledge of it.
