though I'm not really fond of TV, I guess the most frequent show I'd ever watched would be Pilipinas Got Talent (plus it's aired at night so I can watch it after school)

     it's a show that airs (or maybe act?) one of the "senders" (meaning the ones that send their stories about the moments of their life) stories (i.e how they met they're first love, friendship, etc.) and it usually has a leson in the end (kinda like a moral story)

I think the cold case would be more of the mystery type, because the cased they solve are like unsolve cases from about couple of years ago. And each has its own story of hiding the REAL story. So I guess that it could be in the genre.

Well, pau, not really. Because cops shows depends on what they're focusing on. Like for criminal minds, it mores about normal crimes like, oh you see a robber, you call the cops. Wa-La!
For cold cases, they're more on mysterious because the cops have to figure out what happen to this person. Why did she/he died?
In Law criminal or something like that, only half is mysterious, but most are just criminal similarities.
It usually depends on what type of things they're dealing with. So its not always mysterious. Because if you just say it like that, then it just ruins the whole point of different types of cops shows or movies. Everything would be the same, nothing changes.

I've finally watched Game of Thrones and it was really good! I liked it.
Otherwise I've now seen Merlin, Switched At Birth, Pretty Little Liars, The Heart of Dixie, and Supernatural. (I'm sure there's more xD)

As for the whole Doctor Who thing earlier....
You have to watch it!! It's okay if you don't watch the ones from back in the 1900s. Those aren't very good anyways and some of the episodes are missing and they only have audio due to a fire. If you start from the new seasons you will be fine. I never watched the old ones and I understood it perfectly. In a way there almost made so you don't have to watch the old ones.

Also when you do start watching it, I promise you will be "OMG, Why didn't I start watching this sooner?!" Because everyone I've talked to/persuaded to watch it was the same way. You all will really like it I'm sure!

Edit: I've already watched it over 10 times it was that good.

If you can get past some of the bad acting/cheesiness, then yes! It starts out oddly, but the plot becomes highly addictive as it goes on.

I'm pretty sure most series or shows are like that. It starts off horrible acting and stuff, but it gets better in the future or later series.

We got satelite TV last year so I've recorded all the Big Bang Theory and Dustin and I have been working our way through that. I've been also watching the new season of Heartland as well. I love that show. <3
