Funny Things People Say When They're Half-Asleep!

People say the craziest things when they're not fully awake...

For example, my mom said this when I woke her up to take her pain pills:  "I can't stay alive to save my wake."

I'm always trying to do homework while half-asleep 'cuz it's due the next day. 
I ended up writing research notecards that said stuff like "30% not a weapon" or "The only aerosols in the air, damage ozone" or "air is less with CFCs". The paper I was pre-writing was about what humans were doing to deplete the ozone, and the dangers that come with depleting it.

Let me tell you -- it's better to take a 30-minute nap and come back to your assignment than to try to do it half-asleep.

Lol, I actually wrote my best essay when I was half asleep. It was a mini autobiography. Of course, most of it wasn't real, and the parts that were based on fact were, ahem, greatly embelleshed, but I got a perfect grade! XD

My teacher would know that I made everything up 'cuz it wouldn't make a speck of sense.

Funny thing I said, running on sleep-dep:  "Dad, I put your table on the coffee, I mean, I put the toffee on your cable-*shakes head to clear it* Your coffee's on the table!"

My friend's grandmother was trying to wake her up and my friend gets up (still sleeping, mind you) and makes a gun out of her hand and says 'Bang, Bang!' pointing a her grandmom.
Her grandmom freaked so much!!

Reminds me of a convo my friends had:

Friend #1: I wash everything with soap.  (random, I know XD)
Friend #2: you wash your mouth with soap?
Friend #3: what? You wash your mom with soap?!

my brother talks in his sleep a lot - he ends up saying things like "no, not right now" or making excuses

My 8 years old niece talks in her sleep, calling out BINGO number ^^; and shouts BINGO!!!

bingo numbers?!?! i'm amazed tbh. you should use her picks as lotto numbers hahaha.

before i started work, i was really bad about waking up. i'd get up at a "normal" time (9-10am?), only semi-consciously respond to texts on my phone, and go back to sleep... then wake up around lunchtime only to have no recollection whatsoever of what i'd texted people T__T

I talk in my sleep a lot sometimes too. I've even attacked my boyfriend in my sleep a few times.

The night before we were talking about ordering Pizza but we never did. So that night in the middle of the night Dustin turned over to cuddle with me and I freaked out and attacked him and he mumbled. "Fine, I won't cuddle with you." so I turned around and looked at it him and went "Oh. It's you." and he replied with, "Who didya think it was? The Pizza delivery man." and then we both fell asleep after that and when we talked about it in the morning had a good laugh. I was dreaming about my sister and I was super mad at her so he surprised me and it freaked me out haha.

There's been lots of times I've talked in my sleep or done weird stuff like that. I can't remember most of them right now.
