you should at least pamper yourself on your birthday. after all, we wouldn't be able to have a great typesetter and i wouldn't have an awesome sister if you weren't born

agree! 

i like people that help others during time of needs. like for example, ever heard of the yolanda (sometimes called as "hainan") typhoon that struck philippines? Tacloban (a city) was pretty much affected and a total of 5000+ died with 1000+ missing. it was at this time that people around the world started helping, including kids! I, no...we really appreciate what you guys have done for us. thank you!

^i can understand your point there but i don't think being kind means harm. after all, your just helping that person.
you just have to be intellectual when you do kind things. for example, a few years ago my ate (means big sister but not literally) told me that if I ever saw a child or an old man lost, i should send them to the police and let them handle the situation. when I asked why I found out that some gang had used children and old people to lure people in an isolated area where they capture them and sell their organs (in short, human-trafficking). so in this sort of situation, the best would be to send the children/old people to the police. in this way, the children/old people would be protected by them (police) and you would have then shown an act of kindness.

Pau, that's only rarely. In my town, all the strangers lie about whether they're rich or poor. The rich dress up as the poor and beg for money on the street. The poor ends up being criminal and stealing things. My town is too dangerous for me to treat strangers nicely. But I only treat friends of friends nicely. (1) I don't know that person and (2) at least this person is friends with your own friend. Although it may not really work out very well, because most of the people that I met as friends of friends [strangers], they back stab me.

I personally like people who are kind to strangers. That's mainly because strangers have been unexpectedly kind to me plenty of times. I always feel a bit giddy when I'm randomly kind to strangers on the street. *shrugs* I guess it just depends on where you live.

That's right, vaux. It really depend on the environment and where you live in. Because from what I read so far, there are strangers from other places that are nicer than the place I am in. I really would like to be nice to strangers, its just that its' too hard to trust and help someone if they're going to hurt you.
