Ouran's (?) ending

HOLY FUCK, GUYS!
I deserve a round of applause... I just finished reading the ending to Ouran High School Host Club! (OHSHC)
So, did anyone else finish it? I know it dragged on and on and lost of readers ( ) but every time I read it, it reminds me of 100% pure shoujo - What I fell in love with three years ago, and why I'm scanlating today! It's really quite nostalgic for me.
So, seven years of hard work, tens of volumes, and Hatori Bisco (-sensei) finally wrapped it up! What did you guys think? Like it? Hate it? And while you're at it, I'm interested in knowing any favorite characters!

[spoiler]I personally thought it was a bit too sentimental/fantasy. But I'm proud of Haruhi deciding to leave behind Ouran to pursue her dreams. Well, at least for a few seconds. XD [/spoiler]

two years later, i re-read the hwole thing.

Slightly predictable, but at least it ended and they didn't drag it on any further.  My favorite character is definitely Kyouya (Real/Dark President), heehee.

the ending of the anime was kinda cliche --> kyoya's father and tamaki's father fighting over haruhi?

Pshhht. Kyouya was like a lovestruck teenager when he was around that girl (well, compared to how he is normally XD)
But our darling shadow king would never profess his love for her. If he did, the world would just... end.

And admit it, guys. The anime ending is at least a hundred times better than the manga one. Just be glad that the manga ended at all, even though it was so crappy, I was embarrassed for Hatori Bisco (-sensei) T.T

Hmmm...I'm not so sure that the anime is better, lol.  I'll say...I like them both equally?  Just because of course the manga had more strings tied up compared to the anime, but the voices (Japanese and not the crappy English ones) in the anime were perfect and I laughed more watching the characters do stupid things more than I did when I read the manga.

While I'm on it. I feel like the only English dubbed voice that they got perfectly is Kyouya's. And I'm not saying that just because I'm his fan.  I don't like anyone else's voice because I don't think they did the Japanese anime any justice.  Whoever was the voice of Kyouya in the dubbed version was the perfect pick since he held so much evil in it

I watched the anime awhile ago and was like --->  when it ended because it left so much unsaid. And dag nab it, I hate inconclusive endings that leave you wondering and wanting. T_T

I've picked up the manga but havent had a chance to read it just yet >.< I've already got a ton Ive started and not finished, sooo yea needa scratch a few more titles off the list before I started it. But a friend told me it goes into a lot more character depth than the anime so I have high hopes for it - even if it is really cliche, I totally love -squee- moments and happy endings. XD It does have a happy ending, right? O_O;

I liked the twins the best~ What were their names? (Read it a loooooong time ago) Kaoru and Hikaru?

I didn't like Tamaki that much. Too many facepalm moments... :/

I didn't really like the ending...Even though I saw it coming. Definitely cliche. I liked the anime ending better. T_T

My favorite character was Kyoya~

oh I loved Tamaki, he was the glue that held it all together yenno? and I love face palm moments XDDDD although his character, in my opinion, was the one that changed the most. :3

Did anyone know they made a freaking DRAMA out of OHSHC?! Because I sure as hell didn't. And I hate the actors. Every single one of them
[spoiler]NUUU~~Tamaki, my sweetheart, what happened to you? How can anyone try to make you into a real live person?! His actor is so Japanese...I mean what with that nose. It just screams "Japanese is me! Look at my japanese hairstyle and my inability to act in dramas, I know I should be animated D:<") No comment on Haruhi =.=
And the twins? They look nothing alike. (And Honey and Mori are just disgusting. I mean, LOOK at that creeper stare on Honey's face. That's not Honey, that's just bad casting! o_o) This destroyed my soul. [/spoiler]

The twins scare me... 0_0 In the manga/anime, they were AMAZING! 
But for some reason... Seeing them portrayed be real people kinda freaks me out...
