I had a nightmare that when someone touched my back, it froze me so I couldn't move and I couldn't talk...
I actually seem to have nightmares where I can't talk/move.

Yeah! Sometimes I do that too. Like when you dream about yourself reaching out to grab something, you suddenly wake up to find that your hand's either stretched out in front of you already or you were almost going to stretch it out XD

Actually, that's totally realisitic because I'm always late to my math classes for some inane reason. So it was very scary when I woke up.
D: At first I was like "Shit, I have to make up an excuse for going to detension tomorrow."
But then I realized that it was a dream. T__T THANK GOD XD

That happens to me all the time. I always have nightmares about being late for school because I usually only wake up at around 6:50 and my bus comes around 7 and at my school if you are late once you get a detention.

I aways have some weird dreams. Last night i remember about three or four dreams: one was extremely cool - i was singing with Gackt!! ;P soo happy... But in the second one my mum died. In the third one i lost two of my teeth. In the fourth- i was in germany and a few creepy guys followed me- but it turned out that they were really friendly! (though i've never been in germany before..)

Completely agree. hate it when i dream about anything school related. there was a while before i was about to transfer school, and every single night i dream about messing up the first day at the new school. I'd either:miss the bus/get to school late/forget my backpack/or end up doing something really embarassing.and it felt soooo realistic. my gosh that was scary.

Have you ever heard of sleep paralysis? I wonder if that is what you might be experiencing.

Though sometimes, it feels too real to be sleep paralysis. The only thing I can say is just do your best to make yourself wake up. Whenever I get those ghostly dreams, I always get frozen and have to shout in my head to wake up and wake up to find myself telling myself to wake up.

Or maybe you could look into lucid dreaming. I wish I could do that. >_<

heh i had once a dream that a wolf stabbed me with a knife ;O he actually held the knife in the hand like human ;) hen i was stabbed, i fell on the grass and with eyes closed i waited for death to take me. and suddenly i felt someones breath on my face and two hands binding my neck... dunno if i said it right <open dictionary>

Do you guys actually feel pain when you get stab or hit in your dreams? Or do you just know that you get stabbed? Once I got a bullet to the shoulder in a dream, but I didn't feel any pain. I did feel pressure and force, but no pain. So, I was wondering about other people's experiences.

Does anyone find it strange how you can tell one dream from another when you have several dreams? Because in the dream cycle, you go through the stages and into REM to dream and repeat and then REM to dream again. Since that happens, you think it would be blacked out or something...but somehow all the dreams seem to run together.

@Disturbance: I can't question your age at all. Mostly because I suck at guessing. At least, I know you can't be too young given Transcendence age restriction. Ah, I only know about REM because I've read about it when I was younger and curious. Also, I had a few classes which talked about it like Psychology.

@icewing: Write it down. You'll remember more. I started semi writing my dreams down in my journal and I've gotten better at remembering. It's gotten to the point where, on a good night, I'm able to wake up from a dream and say okay, dream was about blah blah blah, go back to sleep and wake up in the morning with "hm...I woke up around 2AM last night with a dream about blah blah blah."

I question my sanity trying to recall these dreams.

@mister want: lol i just got a picture in my head of a person shooting up in bed, mumbling something weird, and then plopping back on the bed. it's funnier than sleepwalkers or sleep talkers...  (sorry >.<)

I had a dream last night about the apocalypse. first, i was in school with my friends, and then all of a sudden all the clocks and electronics started acting weird, and for some reason, we all knew that meant apocalypse... so we went to this shelter thingy, by then the sky was a weird colour... and then when i had to present id to enter the shelter, i had an id of my future self (no idea why), an id of my past self, but no present id. so after fighting with the person, i went in the shelter and saw a whole bunch of people lining up to hang themselves... and then my alarm clock woke me up....

yea, i'd be amazed at whoever took the time to read my dream

3rd: I was running from vampires or something. And someone told me to hide in this field of red and gold hay. So, I pulled myself underneath them, except somehow it changed into green bushes.

2nd: I was shaking my friend because she did something I thought was incredibly stupid. I was literally yelling at her. And before that I was at some kind of business lunch thing for this new product.

1st: I can't remember this one. I woke up and went back to sleep. I forgot to mumble to myself what the dream was about. xD

okay i had this very clear dream after i woke up.

I was with a group of humans. One of them had a baby girl that we gave to the vampires. She was half-human half-vampire.
Then we were all staying in this house. It had revolving doors for entrances to the main lobby. This house was located in the middle of a forest/mountain where vampires resided nearby. There was a 24/7 mart that we used for groceries. During the day, vampires would come out to hunt us, to get opportunities to get into the house and drink our blood. During the night, the vampires retired and it was our "free-activity time". Somebody told us that we had to say four words and the vampires have to leave us alone. Something like Pray no evil ... it's supposed to be something like... god, don't let evil come in and attack us or something. Then one day, we had a party. People were invited, and vampires snuck in. And i was the only human being who kept screaming and shouting the same four words to get them out. A vampire was going to come in but after i screamed these words out of fear, he stared at me and was kicked out of the house by an invisible force. Then the vampires started stalking us... standing there waiting for opportunities to snuck in. For humans, we were thinking of how to combat them. And thinking of using tape-recordings of me saying the four words or using stakes. And then i woke up.

My sister asked me what was the nightmare. I told her. She said,"What about garlic?

as for me, last night i had a dream where there was a huge buffet with all kinds of food, and the dessert was shaped like really cute things and anime creatures too. and the best thing was, no matter how much i ate, i never got full, so i just kept on eating and eating.

hmm i finally had a dream today. at least one that i remembered. partially.

in it, there was a period that I recalled vaguely, when there was peace. Then suddenly it just turned into war and a group of my 'friends' and I were suddenly fighting our 'enemy'. The funny things were, that I've never seen some of the people in that group of friends before, and while the war was still going on, there were civilians in the market doing their grocery shopping. =.= I remember battle scenes a bit here and there, but it's not enough to piece them up to get a full picture. but it was cool jumping around fighting with my bare hands and improvised weapons :P In the end we lost though, because they brought in cannons, something which we didn't have... I guess we were still behind in terms of technology =.= So we escaped through a fast speed rocket submarine thing which brought us out of the country's border. Although near the end water was filling up the submarine and we had to break through a thin layer of ice on the water surface to get out. and while we were all panting, my friend turned to me and said "hey! actually you can fight pretty well!". Then I smiled and woke up. :P

I was breaking down in tears to think that I was going to have to be suspended from school and everyone was so pissed at me... Who knows why. I mean, I just saved the goddamn US prez. I had a really freaky dream that I didn't like. Warning: slightly graphic

Somehow I had a cut on my chest. So, I was just wiping away the blood. Then, somehow it became a bigger hole. I got really creeped out. So, I was poking out it and seeing pus come out. I kept wiping it, hoping that there wouldn't be anymore because you know it would be bad---sign of big infection, right? Then, somehow I could feel that there was this long weird thing in my body. What did you know? I pulled out a long orange carrot from the hole which got even bigger at this point covered in blood. I feel squick out now. >_<

Last night, I dreamt that I was with a classmate. She has a female ghost in her twenties with her. The ghost gave me a warning because something bad will happen to me. So, you better be careful. There was a tingling sensation in my hands and feet. I had a thought that I'll lost a pinky and a big toe. Then, I went into this hotel/restaurant. My classmate had already left. And the ghost said goodbye to me, again telling me to be careful, and that she was going back to the other world. Inside this hotel/restaurant, there was this man who was throwing this ice block, all rounded and smooth. He threw one into the crowd, and it landed very close to me. I had to literally jump out of the way. And I thought, ah, the ghost is right. I need to be careful. So, I moved out of the way. The man threw another ice block. It was also so close to me that I had to jump out of the way. Then, I woke up scared, and I couldn't go back to sleep.

I had a dream that a 12 foot ninja caught a ride on a tsunami from Japan to Canada. Everyone thought he was dead except me. My dad was examining all his weapons and gear which was found on the beach. A friend of mine came over and brought his little sister who was in a princess dress and we played Red Dead Redemption. I stopped and went upstairs to check what my dad was doing and he had a body bag the ninja used. It was from a local supermarket. It then segued into something with dragons and a demon or something... then I woke up....
