I want to add in that there's three parts of China. The Northern, the Central, and the Hong Kong//Southern.
Central is the communist side. Hong Kong is consider its own country because they do nothing that's involved with China itself, so they're on their own. They don't rely on their government at all. As for nothern, they're just there following rules, not all but some. The central is the one that's been making plans for attack and alliance or destruction. Like the things that's been happening now with China x Japan && China&North Korea x South Korea&Japan&the US. If you did not know about this, then omg. It's still in progress nothing bad happening yet, but it's going slow though.
As for your ebay thing, Harr. Ebay is a site where things get ripped off a lot more than amazon.
As for Blob, i have no idea what the situation was, but that happen as well in America. Heard of the Crucible? Yeah you s hould read it. It talks about the same way China did their things.
China isn't all that bad, especially if you're in the Southern or Hong Kong, they're not affiliated with China. That place is more wonderful than any other cities and towns in China.
None of these are lies ,because I, sally, is a Chinese-American. But I learn my stuff from my parents, they're immigrants.

each province is self administrating, but like tibet, they listen to whatever the central Communist government says which sux for Hong Kong because we're supposed to have a democratic government, which yes, a tiny bit of it is democratic, however the people who vote for who  becomes the governor of Hong Kong, none of them are voted in by the public, so how is it democracy when your equivalent of a prime minister is voted in by people who are not connected to the public?!!

That governor is just a puppet of the central communist faction. The last one had to read off a script and always made a fool out of himself when he was challenged.

I watch news sometimes, but even though I don't understand a single word it says except basic stuff.
Anyways, it says that more than half of Hong Kong or other towns do not vote for their governor or leadership. It's automatically voted by the central if they like it or not. And most of the time the governor does not know what he's doing, like the time he ordered to destroy someone's house down without letting them know. And it cause so many problems afterward.
@Vaux: Well half of those 8000 characters are similar to Japanese Characters. c: so it shouldn't be that hard.

You see, you get to learn your language. I don't. I can't even read or write in chinese. even though I'm chinese...Japanese characters in english is much easier than the chinese looking characters way. Ok the next thing you'll know this conversation starts to drift toward the japan.
Anyways, chinese > cantonese & Mandarin. more than half of china is mostly Mandarin. Cantonese needs to be revive or whatever that word is.

I don't think reading and writing in Chinese is extremely important if you live overseas. Half of my Chinese friends don't even know how to read/write fluently, lol. And hahaha yes, I'm aware of that. That's why I'm doing Mandarin to begin with, since it's more common. 

Also, I'm not Chinese. xD I'm just studying Mandarin because I wanted to learn a new language, lol.
