I'm sure it is. I know our school systems are really wonky. We've got different systems for elementary & middle school, high school and then college. Which I believe is called université for you. (Just wanted to clarify that because Ela got confused when I talked about college xD) Which is actually really funny because we have universities here too. We're really messed up. haha. But what's your school year like? Are you in high school?

In my country it is called universiteit and college is hogere school. As you can see, we also have colleges..
I think my level of english is a bit higher than ela's... (Cambridge degree of level C1). I never did understand your school system with the whole 8th and on grade... We start over numbering grades with every new school.
We go from about september to july to school. In between we have holidays of 1 or 2 weeks. 4 in total and 1 of 6-7 weeks. <- summer holidays
I'm in high school, after this year two more to go to finish... -.-

Well, I'll just butt in to say... Your school year sounds pretty similar to mine. :) We generally have school from September to June, and we have holiday break in Dec. (1 week), winter break in Feb. (1 week), spring break in April (1 week), and summer holiday from end of June to early Sept. (about 7-8 weeks). We have a bunch of no-school-days and half-days and whatnot for other reasons, too.

I'm in sophomore year at my school (10th grade) with junior (11th) and senior (12th) years to go!

Well our Elementary and Middle schools have four quarters instead of semesters.
Our high school has semesters along with our colleges.
The high school, Elementary, and Middle school, school year are all the same. They start a week into September and go til about a week into June. They get 1 week break for Christmas, 2 days for spring, 1 day after the end of the quarter, 2 days in October for MEA. Then there's various others that I can't remember. Like President day i think?
College goes from the end of august til first week of may. We get 3 weeks off for Christmas. 2 days off for Thanksgiving, 2 days in October for MEA as well then there's a few other less major ones I'm missing.

Technically I'm in 11th grade but I'm a full time College Student.

Where do you live?! And I feel seriously sorry for you for having so little holidays!! We get 1 week in autumn, 2 weeks with christmas, 1 week in spring and 1-2 (differs) week in may. And then a lot of other free days here and there. 
Then you are just one year older than me? (me ish 16 in 2 weeks)
Here people can start college at 16, 17 or 18, depending on the level of highschool you had.

But we got waaaaaay more breaks and free time then the k through 12 graders. By far.

That doesn't help me! I don't know what to talk about. 
Well we will have been dating for 3 years August 5th.
It was a whirlwind romance and we started "technically" dating a month after we met. After two weeks of talking he was the first one to say "I love you." I did not say it for a few days after that because I was unsure of myself until I talked to my best friend and indeed realized I was in love with him so I started to say it back to him.
He proposed a month after we started dating but it hasn't really been made "official" with a ring yet but that's okay. We're still looking for the perfect one. :)
We exchanged promise rings at our second anniversary, though. We've had our bumps along the way but everything has made us stronger in the end.
I'm moving in this summer and we plan to get married after I finish college.
