Bad luck with Characters

Okay, I just kinda have to let this out...I admit to reading a lot of shounen mangas. But anyways, in all the mangas I read, when I start liking one character he ends up dying...>.> is it just bad luck for me for choosing characters that end up dying? It hasn't happened in my shoujo mangas that I'm reading thankfully, but the shounen mangas I've read, for example the "big 3", Itachi(Naruto), Gin(Bleach) and Ace(One Piece) all dies. And I don't have a lot of favorite characters...sigh.

Anyways, uh discuss if any of your favorite characters end up dying or something. Either be it shoujo or shounen. :) (Yea, I just had to let that out, useless rant)

Aye, Yami. I share the same feelings. Gin and Ace were two of my favourite characters too, and they all had to die. (and damnit, I knew from the start Gin was a good guy and he just HAD to perish -.-) Gaara too, but well he revived after dying. so it was really a relief. ._.

They shall not be forgotten.

I know right? I wonder if its just us being attracted to those kind of characters...you guys know fairy tail Zeref? He ended up being my favorite character (next to Gerard of course) and I have a feeling he'll die/disappear...>.>

Agreed! :D I absolutely love Zeref/Gerard~

I'm a little different though, because I love it when the main characters die. When I start watching a series, I expect a happy ending so I get really attached to the main character. Then when the main character dies, I never see it coming (Except maybe for Death Note...I think we all sort of saw that one coming XD). It makes the ending so much more entertaining~

T_T in World Embryo, this dude (who WAS the main character's friend) died...somewhere in the beginning T_T

That is quite true with happy endings. Especially Death Note (I didn't expect L to die so soon though...>.> ugh)
I think the only character I can expect to live is Allen Walker XD. He is the main character but he's just so adorable. World Embryo I think I've heard of if but never read it.

after reading the 1st 2 posts, now i realize that Gin had die...i totally forgot bout that

i even reread bleach

luckily i not really into gin though. for me is itachi & minato (although he died before the story even started

i really like him!)
