Ah, his songs have all sorts of weaknesses, too. He's been connected to gaming and anime too many times... And those songs are really, really overly long. 

Yaoi isn't an obsession for me. It was nice and sexy at first, but I never got that into it...
It seems to always have that same gay butt sex scene. T____T Ok, ok, no need to talk about that.
I love my shoujo. But, it was always glaring at me as I snuck in some nice fluffy yaoi.

Actually, as I've mentioned on a number of occasions, I'm super picky about my yaoi. There are SO many pairings I dislike so much, and when I hate a pairing, no matter who they are, even butt sex squikks me right out.

for me the clear seme HAS to be the seme, and actually ACT seme. The clear uke has to be the uke, but not look like shota. I really hate when they make the guys look prepubescent. Grosses me out. Also I like the seme to be older. It's not nice for the older guy to be submissive - in my tastes anyway. Lastly, whether manga or anime or game, I like the protagonist to be seme. Even tho it's So much more common for them to be uke, I just can't identify with ukes on a personal level. The kind of level that makes me enjoy boy love. :P

Lol, on the Gackt front, when you're as famous as he is, you're gonna find yourself as inspiration for certain franchises and well as the topic of them. It's inevitable - especially in a place like Japan!
The only thing that I remember bagging out no end, was when that Gackt computer game came out. I mean come on! I don't even remember the context, but I think he was some kickass fighter, as he seems to favor himself. It was embarrassing even associating my like of him at that point. 

My biggest gripe about shoujo is the girls that are so irritatingly innocent! And those without any personality.

I don't really like BL without sex (personally), unless it contains a lot of really really hot kissing. That can be almost as good.
But sometimes they have yaoi with really ugly looking butt sex. It makes me wanna claw my eyes out and then kill the mangaka. Not good at all.  
Also I'm not really into yaoi without a decent storyline. I mean sex is good, but when it's unconvincing I'd rather pass.

as I originally said (yes Lily, it was I, and not Shrubbery), good yaoi is like a fine wine. There are alot of very mediocre yaoi's out there - in fact, the majority of them. But once in a while you come across this total gem~ <3 The same goes for shoujo too actually.

Ace Attorney game series is great for unintended gay innuendo, plus it's so much fun. SO much Phoenix x Edgey yaoi doujin has come from that series!! Some of it is really good too ~  *loves phoenix x edgey*

Josei is too scary for me. There's different types of shoujo. If you bother, you can try to read completed mangas from Hang Yurang or Hwang Mi Ri. The girls in their manga are always strong fighters, and there's alot of jjang plots.... but one sad thing is they always almost fall for the baddie guy <_<
