So I am currently spending my summer vacation in china and since I probably won't get another chance to come here again, where should I go and what should I see? Also, what is something I NEED to do or else it would be like never coming if you know what I mean. By the way, I already have visited Haikou (Hainan & Sanya), Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and places near Huangshan (I also climbed parts of Huangshan). In addition, is there anything I should buy?

HongKong- Buy Everything. And visit ShenZheng while you're there.
I personally liked that place a lot. Well, the hotel was nice. ^__^
I AM quite fond of Shanghai. This year. The blue teddy bear is in! Buy a HaiBao! I wuv mine...
It stinks a lot, so it's been quarantined, but... O_O Whatever.
We'll miss you! And BeiJing is waaaaaaarrrrrm.

Is there anything to do in Hong Kong? My parents went a few years ago but they didn't do much, except buy a few things. My parents want me to go to places where I can learn something.

Learn something? I strongly suggest climbing Mt.Everest.
You learn a lot of things up there. Or go to Tibet.
Or even better, come to Beijing, got to TianAnMen Square,
Hold up a "Free Tibet" Sign, and get yourself killed.

ok. you can go to Xi An at the terracotta soldiers, Zheng Zhou for some temples and stuff, beijing's great wall, hai nan dao for some XTREME ASIAN CARRIBEAN FUN (and seafood!), and....Hang Zhou, or Su Zhou for a history of silks, fans, food, and other stuff. yeah. i had to do a project for chinese school

and luckily, my aunt lives in this private neighborhood thing and they have a bunch of bakerys/shops so every day I have had soy milk and oily, crispy, stuff XD. By the time I go home I will be a fatty.

I think those are the main ingredients, the main one is of course oil since from chinese to english it means Oil Stick, it is just fried dough, kind of like a doughnut..

Jiu Zhai Gou ?? is a must! I went there once, and you can't believe how beautiful it is~all the lakes and waterfalls~ there's green lakes there! it's much better than huang shan. It's really cold even in the summer, so bring a jacket.

If you wanna go to places where you can learn something, then try si chuan(and fall in loove with the awefully spicy food there)

Yun Nan is also a nice place to consider.

oh, and definitely go watch Pi Ying show () some where(i think in si chuan or beijing), and buy some of the Pi Ying dolls~

@michelle: it's super clean at jiu zhai gou. and if u don't like dirty hotels, then go to the good ones~ there's lots of five star hotels around jiuzhaigou.

If you don't like dirty hotels, just find the five star one.
AND NEVER GO TO TAIWAN. There is NO good hotel in Taiwan.
Everywhere else, there'll be a pretty good one. Avoid the Middle East in general, though.
It gives me the creeeeps.

The marriot in Hong Kong is a MUST.
I stayed at the Four Seasons in Hong Kong shortly, but it has NOTHING on the service in the HK Marriott...
You won't find that kind of service in the US, for sure.
The view of the harbor was simply priceless. I can not EXPRESS has nice it was from the 30th floor.

Shangri-la is a pretty good hotel~

i stayed there once and it was really nice.

and yeah, when i went to visit one of my relatives, the best hotel around the area was a three star.... i had nightmares...
