New Management!

[`Roze`]

I know this is a bit late, but I'd like to introduce you to the new management!

I'm WhiteRozePetals, but mainly go by `Roze` or Roze. I'm the Admin of Transcendence! I first started working in scanlating in 2012. Transcendence was my first group! I applied as an editor and was trained to be an editor. I stuck around until spring 2013 when I took a break from scanlating due to some personal reasons. I came back in the fall of 2013 because I had been called out of Reserve Staff by one of the other admins. Then in January of 2014 I founded Decadence, a sister group of Transcendence. It was at this time the two admins, Zephyr and Kuri, along with many of the other staff here went missing. I worked for a few months at making Decadence successful. I met some great people and they became part of my team! By the end of the summer an opportunity arose for me to take over Admin on Transcendence due to the previous admin's lives becoming too busy. I then merged Decadence with Transcendence and we've been working here ever since! I did some Quality Checking and Editing for a few other groups before I created Decadence. I worked for Misty Rain Scans and a few others I can't remember the names off the top of my head.

Some of my favorite manga's are(in no particular order): Black Bird, Love Celeb, /DC Blush, Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Switch Girl, Vampire Knight, Honey x Honey Drop, Mitsuiro Devil, Koiiro Devil, and much more I can't think of right now. Some of my favorite genre's are shoujo, smut, romance, and historical.

My hobbies mainly include working on manga and reading it in my spare time. I do paint some in my free time and I like making little craft type things like horse hair bracelets. ;3



Hi there, I'm Nielle (seen around the forums as x_nielleified)! Transcendence was my first scan group. I started as a proofreader in Fall 2013 but was later trained as a typesetter and quality checker. When Roze founded Decadence in Spring 2014, I followed her to help out with staff training and project management, in addition to my usual duties as proofreader/QCer. Roze's suggestion in Summer 2014 to merge Transcendence and Decadence meant taking on a lot more responsibility, but I've been pleasantly surprised with how well we've done with getting things back on track and making sure everything runs smoothly. I also do a good amount of work for Tsundere Service Providers/TSP and Maigo Scans, so if you're ever around, be sure to say hi! My favorite series include: Bonnouji, Denpa Kyoushi, Natsu no Zenjitsu, Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, Ookiku Furikabutte, Genshiken, Koi Dano Ai Dano, Horimiya, and Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou. I'm partial to seinen; the series I read are generally slice-of-life, psychological, or mystery. My hobbies include livetweeting about manga, watching figure skating, and going to karaoke rooms too often.



-About Your Decadence Manager-
DuchessOfFantasy here but you can call me Nessy for short. Decadence Scans is my very first scanlation group. I saw Roze recruitment post on the manga group on facebook. I decided to apply as a cleaner first. I didn't have any experince in Photoshop but Rose taught me everything and here I am now I became an Editor few months after I joined Decadence! I used to work as a cleaner for Misty Rain Scans and Shirayuki Scans but I quit when the opportunity arise for merge with Transcendence. Then Roze asked me if I want to have a much bigger responsibilties, how could I refuse! :D I become Decadence Manager when the merge happen. Some of my favourite mangas/manwha/manhua are Crazy Girl Shin Bia, The One, Kyou Koi wo Hajimemase, Honey x Honey Drop, Joou no Hana, Akatsuki no Yona, Hapi Mari and so much more lol. My hobbies aside from doing scanlation work, are reading books (not manga) play with my cat, and sleep. I think, that's it. Well, if you have any questions feels free to ask.
