What Instruments do you play? Or want to?

I noticed I have some very musically talented friends. Most of them know to play AT LEAST two instruments (which makes me wonder how they balance practicing and homework so well :o). I know how to play the flute and a little bit of piano and guitar. What about you guys?

  well, I'm not a big fan of instruments... I was forced to learn how to play the flute while I was at school..  I hated it!  mmm... but I know how to play the piano... 2 instruments?? WOW!

Ooo My old school used to require learning recorders too. Wasn't very good at it though (mostly because I'm so ADD...)

I was forced to learn flute, too, for band! I liked it back in middle school, but now I'm way too lazy to practice.

I have played piano, violin, guitar, percussion, guitar... and, of course, the recorder.
And we've probably all sang before.

I can play the piano and the drums. I don't really count recorder as an instrument, but that was a mandatory one for me too :P
I have also played around with a guitar, but not to a level where I call it 'I can play'

I usually sing in the shower or just anywhere around the house when no one is home. Or, if I'm feeling really bored, I turn on the family karaoke machine and go nuts. 

Because we all know it's customary for Asian families to have karaoke machines.

I can play the....Bath Room singing, not that anyone wants to hear that....
But I want to play the piano because I find it a great instrument with great sounds. Also requires a multitasking mind to be able to play with 2 hands at once far apart. Heres one of the thing that inspires me to want to learn it.

That's pretty much all of them. I learned playing the guitar first.
Then my mom enrolled me in a piano tutorial. But the tutor only
taught me how to do the chords and all because I was using an
organ before. Then I learned how to make variations with the chords
from my classmate XD Then I learned the Flute. It was a subject in the
music class. So basically, whether you like it or not or the teacher was bitchy,
you have to play the flute. XD No excuses works on her  

I'd like to learn drums (I've had drum lessons with the same teacher >.<)  
And well it was nice xD And I'd also like to learn how to play harmonica using the instrument
itself and the leaves.

The instrument I wish I knew how to play is the piano. I have wanted to learn since ages ago, but never got lessons. I can play a few short songs by memory though. XD

I was forced to learn an instrument in high school, so I know the clarinet. I'm not sure I remember it anymore though.

My parents are like that, too. I love singing, though, so I don't let it get to me. I have written a few songs, too, though I can't write music scores, wo I don't have a set tune written for any of them.

Ouch... theory. I mostly bs'd my way through the theory exercises I had to do along with my piano lessons... Which I regret now because how am I ever going to learn guitar if I don't even know chords? TT.TT  My piano skillz are always going to be impaired by my lack of practice motivation and small hands. However, I am a genius on the xylophone 

I'm surprised at how many people had to learn the recorder! I did too but I thought it was just my quirky little school. Did anybody else also have to learn to play bells?

Hm, I've seen people use it for performances on xing guang da dao (<-- Talent show that my gramps watches. And I watch with him... *hides* >_<) Anyway, I was watching with my gramps today, and WHO do I find on the judge's panel? Han Geng! I swear I just spelt his name wrong, but all I was wondering is how much they paid for him to get on the stage and do a dance off with an amateur and hug her, and how much the people in the audience were there for the SHOW and how much the people were there for Hangeng.
There was a shot of squealing fangirls every five freaking seconds T_T Well, it was entertaining amid my PMS depression.

I never played piano very seriously -- just enough to be able to sight-read my anime songs. That's all I ever needed.
I'm apparently very good at clarinet, so I've been working on that.
And my trumpet is so-so.

Out of all those, I like the piano the most. You don't have to work on breathing, there's a lot more different songs that you can play, and I like the sound it makes the most.
