NOTE: Once assigned to certain projects, you will not be notified to QC it. It is for you to keep an eye out for updates of your projects. Please post a reply to the chaps that you qc before you qc it, just to make sure others don't do it too, thinking that you are MIA.

Here is a simplified guideline for what QCers should look for:

Cleaning:
-Specks at zoom 100%.
On Dark Layer: Image>Adjustments>levels: drag gray arrow all the way to the right. Click ok.

-Specks on Black: Solid black areas should be all black with no white spots.
Image>Adjustments>levels: drag gray arrow all the way to the leftt. Click ok.
(Don't have to be too picky on this one if the Raw is bad quality. Can ignore small areas.)

-Pay attention to borders and see if there are any things that should've been cropped out.

-Make sure the page is not over leveled. (Image should not look choppy. gray areas should stay more or less affected.)

-check if the chapter is stamped on every 3-5 pages.

-Page numbers should be cleaned out from the original

Typesetting:
-Make sure that there are no punctuation/grammar/spelling mistakes

-Check if all text are properly fit into the shape of the bubble.

- Make sure all texts are set at "Smooth".
Reason: I read a lot of chapters where the text looked horrible and it burns your eyes like-... >.> Also QCers just let that go too!?

- Make sure all vertical ellipses are cleaned out and replaced with either three periods [...] or [......] 6 periods.

- Make sure all texts layers are above the leveling layers.
Reason: Some chapters had texts that looked over-leveled and it's even worse than not setting it at smooth.

-Make sure that all word cuts are done by syllables (ex: "Modifications" should be cut like: "Modi-ficaitons" and not: "Modif-ications".)

-All language on page should be in english (except for SFX). If and SFX is left on page, check to see there is a english reference to it somewhere on the page.

-Narration text should be gray

-Rely on your Manga reading experience and instinct!! And point out stuffs that looks awkward and rephrase awkward sounding lines.

General:
-makes sure the names of the files and folder follow the Rule.

-Check if page width is 730px.

-Check if credits page and recruitment page are present.

-Fonts should remain consistent throughout the chapters.

-Make sure all files are saved in .PNG format

-Make sure file is zipped in ZIP format and not RAR.

Notes:
Write/group the changes by the page. Make sure you indicate clearly what needs to be changed and where it is.
Here's an example:

Xye please add this point under... Typesetting:

1- Make sure all texts are set at "Smooth".
Reason: I read a lot of chapters where the text looked horrible and it burns your eyes like-... >.> Also QCers just let that go too!?

2- Make sure all texts layers are above the leveling layers.
Reason: Some chapters had texts that looked over-leveled and it's even worse than not setting it at smooth.

I can understand that some people might not be experienced at typesetting or qc-ing but when you see texts that burns your eyes, you don't just go and ignore it thinking that nothing is wrong. There is a reason why some texts look smoother than others.

Privilege is the greatest enemy of right.

=_= Xye...can you please add this under TSing? Or maybe part of cleaning...

Cleaning: clean out all vertical ellipses from the raw

TSing: replace with ONE ellipse.
3 dots. PERIODS. not commas. :D
