I do think that good anime are very little nowadays. Most of them do look kinda fake. So I only watch the better ones.

I'm currently watching
Arakawa Under The Bridge.
It's hilarious!

Angel Beats!
It's really touching and also funny. I fully recommend it.

Durarara!
This is good. But you have to actually watch at least a few episodes to understand it. It's confusing in the begining.

Katanagateri
It's taking a lot time for it to be subbed. The plot is interesting. But some episodes are a major let down

Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan
This is only nice if only you are a big fan of shoujo.
#2
Anymore watching Ookami Kakushi right now? It's cool!
#3
Maybe it's sailor moon? Dont really remember! I don't even know it's called anime then...
#4
I Agree! It's all acting cute intead of singing. Can they really sing? They sound so unnatural and to be true, i dont really consider that good singing at all.

Your school's track meets seemed so fun. We have track meets every year or which they call annual sports meet even though it's all running. But if we're doing short distances, we run on the track. But if it's long distances, we run on the distinated route outside the school (weird to run in public with number tags). It all depend with one you're shortlisted in. It's cool you can do 400x1 and  100 meter sprint! I can never do that. So I'm normally in the long distance race (normally 3.4km?). But normally people in the track team ran faster than me but my best was still a 7th (among mabye 30 to 35 people).

OMG! How could this kind of things happen?! It's horrible to imagina that you were suffocated in sand.
I'm fine if its just a manga /anime but in real life, it's just disturbing! Argh~!

I like those plots that are so weird and twisted (mostly with blood and gore Woohoo!). So an amazing manga is "Doubt", it's really freaky but is really good!
I don't really like cliche  shoujo manga that goes for long period of time. (like S.A) Argh! However, if the plot is unexpected and it blends with shoujo, I'll like it. Maybe something like Heart To Kuni Alice and maybe Medeka Box(if that's shoujo)?

If you like anime movies, then you should definitely watch "5 centimetres per second" and "The girl who leapt though time"

I watched "The girl who leapt though time" (my friend had the CD), its really good!
But I was lazy find 5 centimetres per second online. I wish i could find a version that has good resolutions though...

XYE! I hate you! Why did you have to hook me up for Superior so much!?
Why did you show it me! WHY! You knew that I would like it and that I would suffer now that it isn't finished!

Actually it's 9 volumes, 8 of them already are translated... but it doesn't end in v09... it just changes its name! It will now be called Superior cross and who knows when will it end!

the demon lord is so sexy >.<

Anyway... three times huray for the cool characters! HIP HIP, HURAY!

I want more!

I can't find the new chapters for Superior Cross (which is also the sequel to the Superior)
I can't believe that it didnt have a clean ending :noway:

Is VK good? I decided not to read it since there are only 90(?) ch.

Well I read the big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, and OP) but they always seem to short so I think I'll drop them for a year and come back.

Right now I'm only really reading 2 which would be...
-Bakuman
-Liar Game
And thats pretty much it...

Vk's good! But confusing at the same time. At first it started out simple and easy and things started to go deeper... Which is why i like it too!

Anime / Anime Movies
March 05, 2010, 09:52
Uh.. Not sure if it's under anime or movie. (since it is both anime and movie)

I was wondering if there's anyone that watch anime movies?
I watch them! But most of them are mostly OVA or the repetition of the oringinal anime...

The one which is the most amazing is Kara No Kyoukai! It is a series of 7 anime movies joining up into a whole timeline and thus finish the story! It's really deep and you just get so confused sometimes when watching it! It contains gore  but well, it's just anime!

I'm currently waiting for a few movies to come out, which is:
Fate /Sword Dance
and The unnamed Gundam Seed Theatrical Film (as soon as it is produced)

I'm currently so in love with
Vanilla Twilight -- Owl city!
The song just can't get out of my head!

So true... but I watch it for the comedy only.
Deep animes are normally war and mecha.

Toradora!

It's a new school year and Ryuuji Takasu discovers not only is he in the same class as his best friend, Yusaku Kitamura, but also Minori Kukshieda whom he's had an undisclosed crush on for quite some time. Along with Kitamura and Minori is Minori's best friend, the "Palmtop Tiger", tiny Taiga Aisaka whom, despite her small stature, takes nothing from nobody. (When unflattering pictures of her in a bathing suit were circulated, "Of course, I made it rain blood in the photography club.") Taiga is secretly in love with Kitamura and she and Ryuuji, despite an oil and water relationship, agree to mutually support each other in their quests for their heart's desire.

Genres: Comedy, Romance, School, Slice of Life

Omg! I watched the whole anime! Its really good! Even though it gets a bit boring in the middle.. But there's actually an unexpected twist! It's one of the best shoujo animes that i ever watched! Did you finish it? It's really nice! And it has somehow a deep meaning to it... I would really recommend it too!

WOW! It's surprising that you can write this well with english not as your native language. I can't even write this well, when english supposed be my native language ( or half of it)... And the story has a nice plot. *sigh* I really need to improve on my languages.

gee, everyone here knows chinese or japanese...though that is to be expected, i'm currently on my 3rd? month of french...ya...need a partner to help because i can't even differentiate adjectives from adverbs in english let alone french, i'm good with most of the french vocabulary so far, i just crap when it comes to grammar and spelling xD...my first language is vietnamese...stopped learning at 6, i could hold hours long convo with anyone from vietnam and identify accents and their regions, i just can't read xD..and of course english...i think japanese sounds interesting to me, by the way, did i mention i need help with french?

Eh... I totally agree that french is actually hard. I took it for 3 month and dropped the subject as i have no talent in pronounciation. And French for me was just impossible to pronouce. I had a hard time at it. It was the first and last new language I took. I realised that languages is just not my stuff. :crywithno:

this is partially a ghost story and a funny story...

At 12 midnight, a man was finally back from work (he works night shift)
He boarded the bus 13 which he must take to reach home.
It was a double decker, when he decided to sit on the 2nd level instead of the first, he realised that he wasnt alone...
there's an old lady in a white costume on the 1st level. She said: do... not... go.. up..., DON'T ever go to the 2nd level.
The man was so frightened that she stayed on the 1st level.
This happened everyday for a week and the man cannot help to be curious on what is on the 2nd level.
So one day, he persisted to go to the 2nd level despite the old lady's warning.
Then the old lady suddenly shouted: THERE'S NO DRIVER ON THE 2ND LEVEL!!!!

haha...

I have a really short one. Not so creepy but I think its still considered scary..

At midnight, a man was walking down the streets and saw a girl with her skipping rope, skipping.
However, no matter how long she was skipping, he heard her say 98, 98, 98, 98
So one day, he want up to her to ask her why is she always says the same number.
Suddenly the girl turned back and killed him.
She continued skipping and started saying 99, 99, 99

lol... short and sweet!

I really think cat street is nice... I got the whole set of books at gome.
for me, action, psychological and fantasy suit me the most. And the summary are copied from other webs.  :shy:
i must really recommend these:

Alive - The Final Evolution
A high schooler named Taisuke Kanou is living with his older sister, Youko, after the death of his parents. He lives a relatively quiet life until a massive surge of suicides around the world known as the "Nightmare Week" begins.

From that moment on, weird phenomena begin to occur around Taisuke. He is victim of space travelling illusions. He sees a smiling girl who jumps to her death from atop a building. His best friend, Hirose, is framed for murder. His classmates are killing themselves for no apparent reason. Furthermore, the police always seem to keep an eye on Taisuke while investigating Hirose's case. At the same time, a psychotic murderer appears, and he sees our protagonist as his "comrade". Will Taisuke succumb to all of these crazy incidents? Or will he be able to someday return to his old peaceful lifestyle that he yearns for?

Medeka Box
Kurokami Medaka, a first year, is elected as Student Council President, and the first thing she does is establish a suggestion box. Since she was just elected as Student Council President, she's holding all the Student Council's responsibilities, and wearing their armbands.
So, she asks for her childhood friend, Hitoyoshi Zenkichi, for help.

Megalomania
Set in a future where humans are not the only beings, there are tensions between two races (humans and demihumans). Humans of an age before created these demihumans as slaves to their society. But then a war broke out and demihumans were freed from their enslavement though still restricted to lead lowly lives.

Canon Passacagilia, an officer of the East Side's Police Bureau's Special Second Division who are in charge of dealing with crimes related to demihumans. She patrols this city's streets helping all she can.

Pyscho Buster
Four teenagers with special powers ran away from their "farmers" and are now targeted. They have found out that the only one that can save them is Kakeru, a normal boy that reads manga, plays game, and likes being in his own fantasy world all day.

these are the few manga that ever get realised but they're really good!!! :goodjob:
