Anything to do with history. (I'm a history junkie) My faves always have something to do with history. Anatolia Story and Divine Melody are masterpieces in my opinion. Historical mangas are just so much fun. List: Divine Melody, Pearl Grudge, Anatolia Story, Tale of Genji, manga from the 70s, Count Cain, etc.

I'm just curious about what everyone speaks. My first language was Tagalog (can barely speak it now  :'() and English. I'm currently learning Japanese, Spanish, and relearning Tagalog. Is anyone here learning a different language? How many languages do you speak? What was your first language?

One of my very close friends introduced me to Bollywood films. I personally like Devdas and Om Shanti Om. Have you ever seen a Bollywood film? What's your favorite?

I love reading stuff from the 70s and 60s. My favorite writers are Keiko Takemiya (To Terra) and Leiji Matsumoto (Galaxy Express 999 and Interstella 5555). Does anyone read stuff by the Year 24 Group, Leiji Matsumoto, or Omasu Tezuka? Do you read anything from before 1980? Whose your favorite writer from this period in manga history?

I've shared a room with my older sister since the day I was born. She is my exact opposite when it comes to our personalities. Half the time I want to bang my head against a wall. She irritates me to no end (along with my older cousin who comes over quite a bit) >:(. I keep posters of bands and shows I like on my wall. I have posters of Miyavi and Gazette. My sis and cousin are always saying, "OMG! Are they girls? They look so freaky. Are they gay? blah blah blah" It's even worse when they bring their friends over. Ugh...I can't wait for them to go to college and leave me alone. I also have posters of manga on my wall. My cousin is anti-manga. All she can say is how immature and weird I am. This will be me after those two leave for college:  *skip

..JROCK!! *dances* Google Gackt XD He is awesome <--fan for 4 years now

He is really good. His vocals are amazing and I like how he experiments with different types of music. Miyavi is pretty awesome as well.

:) My parents made me listen to a whole bunch of stuff when I was little. My dad was always playing funk and blues, and mom was always playing classical and folk music. My personal favorite genres are metal and orchestral music. What are your favorite genres of music? How did you get introduced to them? ;D
