beelzebub is really good! i like it a lot and it's hilarious :'D and kuroko no basuke is my love <3 <3 <3 and if you haven't jumped onto the shingeki no kyojin (attack on titan) bandwagon yet, i highly recommend you do so. it's a good bandwagon. and and and CAGE OF EDEN! i was OBSESSED with that series when it was still scanlating god. it was soooo good. maybe i should re-read it... one of my personal favorites is natsume yuujinchou, which we scanlate here at TR! (which i'm also the PR for, hehe.) but it's a really really sweet slice of life manga that has a rating that's off the charts on mangaupdates (it has like a 9.1/10 which i've NEVER seen ANY manga that high). enjoy! :D

Heh, actually I used to not mind/actually seek out spoilers like dandi, but lately I've been not like them as much... they sort of take the fun out of everything. Like Neon Genesis Evangelion... I watched the three movies before I watched the series, and they left me super confused because they skipped over a LOT of things in the series (that I realize now that I've begun to watch the series...). And because of that, I had initially thought I would never watch the series so I read the wikipedia and spoiled myself. LITTLE DID I KNOW I WOULD DECIDE TO PICK UP THE SERIES, and now it's mostly ruined for me because I already know what happens/all the plot twists. orz

I HAVE A LOT but right now i'm obsessed with kuroko no basuke (the obsession is dying down, sadly), so KISE RYOUTA and AOMINE DAIKI are my babies at the moment <3

TONARI NO ATASHI. the ending was completely not what i had expected (maybe i should have seen it coming but there was a pretty long gap between chapters so i couldn't remember every single detail) but REALLY fulfilling. and of course, fullmetal alchemist was amazing. just a masterpiece in and of itself. i really liked the ending of hana to akuma too! very bittersweet and lays down their relationship very clearly.

LOL i played in sept 2011/2012 (there was a year gap between when i played) until around jan 2013 :P then i uninstalled it. it was honestly addicted at first, but then i got tired of it because it was so repetitive, lol. you just play on the exact same map over and over again. :/ i liked playing support raka and towards the end i started to train myself as an ADC and played caitlin~ (but like i said, don't look at me because i quit 6 months ago LOL)

Oh another thing about graphing absolute value: it generally should be a V-shape, and always above the x-axis. So the graph of |x| should look like a V with the vertex at the origin~

oh, this is pretty simple :)

so. domain: the x-values and range: y-values, right? since you're using x^2 as an example, let's go with that.

try plotting a few points. y = x^2. so let's say x = 0. y = 0^2, so y = 0. your first point would be (0, 0).
now try x = 1. y = 1^2, so your second point would be (1, 1).
x = 2. y = 2^2. third point would be (2, 4).

and etc.

you can do negatives too! so try doing x = -1. y = (-1)^2 = (-1, 1).
x = -2. y = (-2)^2. your point is (-2, 4). etc.

now, domain refers to the x-values. notice that your x-values so far are 0, 1, 2, -1, and -2. what does this mean? they are continuously increasing in both directions, right? both positive and negative? this means that the domain is all real numbers.

let's look at the range, which are the y-values. so far your y-values that you've figured out are 0, 1, 4. note that these have no negative numbers, since a negative value squared is positive. therefore, your range would be all POSITIVE real numbers, or y is greater than or equal to 0.

as for graphing it, just plot the points. it should be an open parabola with the vertex at the origin. i hope this helped!

AMEN, LIA. that comes a LOT more into play when you go to college (especially if you're boarding away from school) because your parents aren't there to hover over you and take care of you. i know my roommate at some point worked herself to the point where she was bedridden for a whole day cause she kept going out/studying/doing work nonstop. that's even happened to me, although i had a slightly different situation ^^;

Shingeki no Kyojin is soooooooooo good omg I can't wait for next month's chapter argh! And Kitchen Princess is amazing. A funny story behind that manga: you know how they have recipes at the end of each chapter? So for Mother's Day two years ago, I decided I would use the recipe to make strawberry shortcake. I woke up at 4AM and started working, except I ended up mixing up corn starch for flour and my cake was... Not a cake orz. So when my mom woke up she had to drive me to the grocery store so I could buy cake mix instead LOL. It was quite an epic fail.

haha, when i was younger (like elementary school) i had this sheet of paper where i wrote down all the mangas i was reading and the chapter/volume i was on xD and updated it constantly whenever i read a new chapter/volume~ and this was back in the day when i didn't read manga online, and had to borrow it from the library! ahhh physical manga...

now there're so many revolutionary ways to keep track of what you're reading/watching and it makes my old system feel ancient u_u (not that i still use it lol)

yeah, that's why i didn't feel like watching hetalia either, LOL. you could watch rurouni kenshin if you're interested in history but not really xD and inuyasha i guess, to some extent (idk i've never watched inuyasha so i can't tell you for sure). there's plenty of cool historical animes out there, you just gotta find them~
