I guess? Maybe, idk because I don't clean in long straight hours. After 30 minutes or an hour, I'll do something maybe study or eat then I'll go back cleaning or I'll clean at least 5-8 pages then I'll read one chapter of manga or watch 1 ep of anime or if I have a project in school I'll probably doing that. Or homework...

Lol just take it slow. Give it a break for at least 30 minutes then study again or do it both at the same time ( <- yeah, that's what I do always) Everybody loves procrastinating, tho some of them weren't honest about it. ^ 100000% sure. My brain functions to it's full capacity when I'm pressured, that's why it's kinda fun lol. But I'm not telling you to do the same =_= It's just my lifestyle is kinda like that, I'm used to it ever since and I think that kind of lifestyle fits me, I just make sure that I won't lose sight of my goals and I'll be fine.

You know, it's not really important what you prioritize, just keep in mind a list (or list it on a paper if you have to) of what you should do after you're bored with the 'interesting' or 'exciting' or 'fun' or whatever 'thing' you call it. In the end, it is yourself that will push you to do your things-that-is-important.

Honestly, I shouldn't be here editing stuff and whatsoever. The first time I worked in a group, I realized that, FOR ME, scanlating is one of my outlets when I LIKE to procrastinate, my schedule is fully packed everyday, 16 hours in weekdays, 10 hours in weekends - 7 days a week. LOL. Two words: TIME MANAGEMENT. <-- master this one and you'll become successful in life, hahaha (but hell yeah, it really works.)

^ me too, but the most fun and exciting part starts when the deadlines for my school work is near.

I saw some tutorials in the web, it says:

- Avoid vertical and sideways text because it's hard to read (slanting is good, sideways is bad).

I personally think that vertical texts are hard to read. I saw some SFXs vertically but speech/thoughts, I never saw one.

Then just shut the F up and wait for me to work on it. Also Lily told me she already finished the half of it. And learn how to back read.

EDIT: I don't prioritize this kind of thing. This isn't important as cleaning a chapter. And it's not that easy to keep track of what's going on in this thread. If you are itching to see some visuals, go and make it yourself.

But before, I have a Wacom Intuos4 Large before because it was issued to me of my school. (this is a pretty old model). If I don't need a large one, I should go for the medium or Bamboo series.

When I'm doing some linearts, I usually use PS because I don't have my tablet atm, I use pen tool for that.

I'll give you a sample that I colored in SAI and in PS so that you can see the difference. Or rather quality whatsoever.

This is a simple tutorial for you to be familiar with SAI environment (see attachment)

Just drag the layer at the Trash Can icon beside the "Clear Layer" icon - the one with eraser, or simply toggle the view so it'll be "unseen". You're using SAI, I suppose?

EDIT: click the EYE beside the Layer you want to hide.

You should find your most vacant time then start practicing, sometimes I lose my interest in something because many things are getting in my way. =_=

Practice is the key. It makes your work from SUCKS to SUCCESS hahaha! (<- my teacher said that)

I'm a VERY strict teacher so please bear with me.

And that's not stupid! Actually, I learned to use photoshop by myself, at that time, I still don't have access to the internet, in other words, self-study. And I got some criticisms from my work, they said it was a trash or something. So I decided to take up Digital/Multimedia Arts major.
And I keep telling myself that the real artists are the crappy artists that never gives up. (I think I saw this too on DA)

I can teach you any editing/coloring whatsoever application you like.
It's nice to teach someone who's REALLY willing to learn. Unlike the person that asked me to teach him, in the end he boasted about something. Sucks. (his coloring I mean)

And if a textbox popped up asking something just choose yes.

You can use Paint Tool Sai, the program is portable. Though, it was only created for coloring and making linearts. Not like Photoshop, there are some tools like clone whatsoever. Also, the brushes there are pretty nice. AND most of all, user friendly. I can upload my SAI here if you like. The program size is only 4 mb, and like I said before it's portable, no installation needed.

EDIT: I'm only using my mouse to color

I always choose linearts with a resolution of 5000 above. Much more easy to color.

Don't worry, I'll just darken the lines. Btw if you want to make a lineart out of your sketches you should darken them first using a lead pencil or a sign pen(?) so it won't blur when you scan it. (or use an onion paper so your original work won't be destroyed)
