But once I start adding in the shadows, it'll turn brown, because those 4, are my choices as the base for blonde.

This is so random... But when I'm cleaning the scans, I end up erasing more than I need to (erasing in the whites areas that have no dust) because there's small traces of dusts on my screen =.= I even bought the cleaning rags for it, but I have 8 dogs, so I end up getting more dust than usual. ToT how do you clean your screens?

Isn't that also like Fruits Basket? They started out looking so slim, then all the other art works, their faces start looking chubby.

Why not try a clipping recruit? They get pretty colorful and attract attention.

So, can anyone help me pick? Ignore the out of line coloring o: I just need a base color for the hair, else I can't find it in me to move on. For me, it's a tie between the top left and right. I wanted to do blonde, but I can't seem to get the right shade that doesn't make my eye twitch... Everytime I try to make blonde hair, it always turn brown ;-;

The thing is, I can cut off and redraw any lines for the skin glow, so it won't look like I'm missing a chin, but I don't know if it's gonna over do it too much.

I find moments where you're in a relationship and you wish you single, and vice versa, to be funny moments. Like... how ironic.

After 9 bf's, 1 was dated twice, I think my love life is complete... and I'm only 16.  The longest relationship was a year, the rest ranged from like 1 week (LOL failure with that one) to 7 months (most fall in the 3-5). You'd think dating at 13 was like... early, or I thought it was early, but if you and your partner are mature enough, then being in a relationship was fine. I don't like seeing those relationships where all they do is pda (public display o' affection) and like... (since this was 3 years ago, myspace was still decent...) myspace each other. My last relationship lasted 7 months, and out of the rest, he really was the one imo. But things got in the way and it just ended so badly. And now he thinks it's funny to show off to me by going to parties and talking about this and that girl like they were objects.
What's worst is that this makes me feel that I made guys change. They were so wonderfully nice, and they could do no wrong, but after we break up, it's the end. They become penors... not just to me, but everyone else.

Um... you know how I colored her hair black and white? I didn't want to make it 100% opacity, because I wanted to show the strands in the hair. But I didn't want to go in and erase the messy clump of gray that was shaded in. Ohhhh. Leveling it would work if I selected it right? quick mask and what not 

I really want to get a tablet so I could get used to editing with sai. I use the poly lasso and then loop-dee-doo around c: but I'm trying to work on coloring in white on manga scans without having it look weird.

Finding a color to match the dress and the white hair was hard o.o

But I'm sure they got much better at editing after 2 years. The first few works were already much better than most noobs.

Aw really? When I normally I apply I normally go into artist/editor since I have 7 years experience with PS. I'm not sure why I'm not an artist in this group either ;_; Hire me?

So like... I made a blog devoted to edited manga/manga caps. I thought I'd get someone interested in it, or at least to join tumblr and explore it. Not my best work... but you'd be surprised at how much you can edit when you're bored 

And lawls... BB!

I'm wondering if maybe someone can help make a challenge for me. I'm always editing plain characters. With normal hair color. Before... I remember on myspace, when people rp, they had amazing detailed characters. Please dare me to edit a character for you (you are don't need to save it). In short... come up with an appearance (M or F) and I will edit it. Then I'll post it here, and you can rate it, and maybe critique. Tell me if it looks better than you expected, or way off than what you wanted and that it sucks.
Example;
Hair: Black with white strips
Eyes: L:Red R:Black
Skin: Gray
Detail: Add stitches in, make her outfit have a red/black/white theme, blah blah blah.

The purpose is that I want to get used to doing details. It helps a lot after you compile the experience.

Well even in novels, the movie productions are always worst (cept for very few individuals). I felt the anime did Yuuki no justice Q.Q so I just shun it. 

Think I'd suggest using layers to erase the color that goes out of the lines 

But... I just realized this was under anime so what I said may be relevant as I was talking about the manga. I dropped both the shows after watching one episode because the art never did it justice compared to the manga. (not that it's their fault fully)

But I really think that VK sells well due to art work. The deep plot (no matter how long... it takes them to dive into it) is the back up. I was addicted to the first 2 chapters of VK when it first came out and I actually bought the magazine.

I think it's more along the lines of Yuuki's character is still building up in VK where as in KWMS Misaki is trying to overcome her embarassment. Know what I mean? They're both determined and strongly built, but Yuuki spent her 16(?) years as a human and now she's facing different obstacles. So I don't think the two can be compared. The drama is different. KWMS will never get anymore serious beyond family problems (we all know they will live a happy ending). VK will become more serious with vampires coexisting with humans (and vice versa), love triangles, betrayal, trust, bonds/pacts. Maybe you can compare VK with Blood Alone and KWMS with something else.

;_____; It's so hard to choose out of the tengus D: Like I think Houki is my favorite in fashion sense.
