Post by: Prismatic on April 25, 2010, 23:16
Hi to everyone at transcendence. I'm a fairly new person to the world of scanlating, but I do have some experience with it. I'm looking forward to working to you all. A little about myself? I'm Canadian and in grade 10? can't think of anymore to say since it's 12 and I'm tired. - -;

Once again, nice to meet'cha.  :hi:

It makes you feel old, doesn't it...

Welcome to Transcendence Prismatic, enjoy your stay and if you need help with something just ask freely.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Really?! I feel young compared to a lot of people. That's why I usually don't mention my grade. Everyone is soo oldd -not an insult- T__T If it makes you feel better, I'm turning 16 this year ('cause it sure does make me feel better :D).

If I got any questions, I'll be sure to ask, thanks.

That would be heavenlyqueen - unless people lied about their ages xD

Welcome to Transcendence!  :hi:

I'm in grade 10 as well, in United States... you should feel young! because you get to be 16 only for 365 days and after that, it's one year older... eventually we will all be old, so it's really pointless to try to become old. it comes naturally

Naturally,
Prisi, you've joined the old people scanlation group.
Enjoy your stay. And don't come to me for help. EVER.
Other than that,
It's all good. *insert onion head here*
WELCOME!

Hi there! :D

I'm in 10th grade too!  :=D: Wahhh, it felt like yesterday that I was a little freshman getting lost in the confusing high school corridors. Good times, good times.

I was lost once, and was so scared of being late. Now, I don't care THAT much.
...
Wait, that doesn't sound right. ???

Hi Mom!

*skip Is that you sonny boy?  Seriously, welcome Prismatic.  Right now I'm in the process of typesetting chapter 18 of Tenshi no Uta (having edited it as well) and have realized that even though I love doing this as relaxation, it's a lot of work.  *stress

I hear you, mom. (Yey! Same project! Not fond of Tenshi, you?)
Hate editing. Hate work. But it's better than labor. A very fine line between the two...
I just finished Tenshi17, and despite my efforts to tell the QCs,
that yes, my work is done, and hurry up and QC the chapter,
whoever's QCing this series is obviously not there...
or too lazy to respond. Like me.

I actually like TnU (saw the complete raws, as well as the "sequel", so I sorta know how it's going to end)  Love to edit (I can do all three jobs, am also editing for another group as well) it's relaxing.  Looks like there's no current typesetter as well, so getting the new chapters out will be challenging.  I will continue to steadily work on editing all of volume 5.  Right now typesetting like a turtle...  Luckily where I am I have a Chinese friend who can help me translate anything that wasn't translated.  I'm too thorough in typesetting. *dead

It's fine darling,
if you have any questions, PM the translator,
I, again, understand what you're saying.
I'm way too tedious when it comes to cleaning,
and though it bothers me when typesetting, I never really think about it.
Because typesetting is crap where i don't use my brain and it's rotting. ROTTING!
(my brain o.o)
What other scanlation group do you edit for?
Hate the art for TnU, and try as I might to make it dramatic, it's not.

While it's not dramatic, TnU has its own charm, something like a sleeper.  I have other mangas that I'm currently following (ex. Skip Beat).  The other group I edit for is Wingtipcafe (Oishii Kankei and Doubutsu no Oisha-san).  I've done one chapter for Osuwari Team, but haven't heard anything else from them.  I like Oishii Kankei, glad that more chapters of Ice Forest have been scanlated, want to see more of Wallflower, among others.   :goodjob:

Oooohlala. Wallflower.
Always an entertaining plot.
No charm in sleepiness. Should just go to sleep XD
I hate slow things...
I can't wait. B/c then I grow bored of it.
Don't you every feel that after you read something for a long time in one sitting,
and you go back to it,
that it has lost it's awesomeness?
Wooooaaaaaah... my posts are so tall!  :omg:
