Some of the cutest I have ever read are Fruits Basket (which just so happened to be the first manga I completely owned/read/finished), Black Bird (which is scanned by Transendence), Mishounen Produce (the bishes, THE BISHES), Wanted (That woman had some serious luck there), Akagami No shirayukihime (this one is still ongoing, but its still really cute.), Skip Beat (I am a big fan of kick-butt take charge heroines. I enjoy a heroine that can defend herself. Kyoko is a take charge heroine, but one of the reasons that I love her is that fact that she is scary. HALL HAIL THE REVENGE MONSTER ha ha.). Some of my all-time favorites are Kaichou-wa maid sama (i almost cried at the ending and it takes a lot to get me emotional. I didn't even cry during Clannad: After story (though that was a different type of emotional tear-jerker) but the ending was so amazing that I almost did. that's how good the whole thing was.), Wild Ones ( this one is truly... how should I say it? its quite unique but its totally adorable.) and Vampire Knight (It was the anime I ever finished and I like the subbed version better (the dubbed version just sounds off to me.) but I thought that Yuki and Kaname were actually brother and sister (they are not if you didn't know) so I really really didn't like it but then I read the manga and then was like :donwan: :crywithno: :touched: because EVERYTHING MADE SENSE. If you guys have any others you would like to share with me, or if you just want to rave about your favorite cute manga, that's okay. :bye:
*Le gasp
Akagami No shirayukihime!? I really love that manga!! it makes me feel all cute huggy inside
one of my my fave is Koi Dano Ai Dano and Watashi ni xx Shinasai
those two manga's are so adorable yet the updates were ... kinda... slow.... :haix:
aah! Totally agree on Black bird and mishounen produce. And the ending of Kaichou wa Maid-sama! is really cute!! How they run away together :o_o: and how handsome is Usui with that hairstyle?!
But I must add Say I love you, Hiyokoi, Boku ni Natta Watashi and Dengeki Daisy to the list of cutest mangas. I especially love the drawing of chicks in Hiyokoi. :3
But what is your definition of a cute manga? I think it's when they are cutely drawn and you think the 'hero' is a hottiiiie ;) And the combination of cute drawings and a cute story it's just perfect!
Oh I forgot Shinobi Life is also one of my favorite mangas - which is really adorable!
I can't believe I forgot Dengeki Daisy and Say I love you!! I forgot Inuyasha too.. but that one went on for a LONG time. SHAME ON ME :teardrop: My definition of cute manga is where the storyline cannot be called anything but cute. For instance Kaichou wa maid-sama. YOU CANNOT CALL THAT MANGA ANYTHING BUT CUTE (well, unless its amazing or awesome or something like that.) It is a manga filled with fangirl moments. They characters themselves don't necessarily have to be cute or good-looking, but the storyline has to be good. If the characters are cuties, bonus for me :cheer:
oohhh~ dengeki daisy! haven't seen that in a while! gotta get updated more often :swt:

I definitely agree on that part!! that story never made me skip a chapter (which i usually do :swt: ). though i think it would have been better if they didn't made misaki's hair short (it'd be prettier if it was longer .___. )
Well, I'm kinda behind on Dengeki Daisy because I forgot what chapter I was on. I'm like on Ch. 49 our of what? 63?

Yeah, I know right? Its lucky that Usui makes her more feminine because otherwise she would get mistaken for a guy all the time (not that she'd really have a problem with it...) The ending was really really good though.

I think that it's gotten a bit to complicated with all the virus/jack frost-stuff.. when it takes several months between the releases you kinda forgets what it's all about and then when they talk about how bad it is, you'll be like whaaaaaaaaat?... :swt: But it's still cute whenever Kurosaki and Teru have one of their moments!
And yeah how can you forget kaichou wa maid-sama! Love it but I actually think that the short hair suits Misaki? :swt:
Nearly any hairstyle would fit misaki  she's such a great character!
ive added a new one to my list! Lovely Complex! it was adorable and hilarious! I couldn't stop reading from that manga. Otani and Kozuimi were just...just...so kyaaa!!~ <3
(note to self though: don't ever EVER read any manga when studying. the temptation is too much :swt: )
Oh, I've read that. I actually got into that by doing a general manga search and it was SOOO CUTE. Did you know there is bonus content on it? its called Lovely Complex Plus :donwan: Oh, I remembered another one. I like Barajou no Kiss (though its not done yet :swt:), Pureblood boyfriend ( not done yet either :donwan:) S.L.H (Stray Love Hearts), and Super Darling all done by the fabulous Shouoto Aya-sensei
So much manga to read...
Yeah.. i've had to narrow it down to completed ones when I do manga searches because there are so many good ones.
Me too, otherwise I would only lag behind and feel sorry for myself... (I'm looking at you OP en FT)
The manga that I consider cute are:
Koukou Debut [the lead girl and I are some what alike...XD]
Love! Love! Love! [...not yet finish and they are not releasing any chapter since...I don't know when was the last time but it's not even on Chapter 10...'hope they'll release the following chapter soon]
My Hero! [...I don't know if it's already finish]
LAST GAME
Katakoi Triangle
Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji [I like the lead guy being sadist here than any other manga]
Migawari Hakushaku no Bouken [I like the flow of the story...and Fred and the others being naughty ^-^]
Strobe Edge [heart felt story...not losing hope for someone you really love]
Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen ['relly like the lead characters here]
Shinobi yoru Koi wa Kusemono ['like the lead guy being shy...]
other manga that I really like and consider cute but has adventure or action:
Akagami No Shirayukihime ['still waiting for Shirayuki and Zen scenes]
Vahlia no Hanamuko [short story but it's really cute]
Kaichou wa Maid-sama
Kimi Ni Todoke
Dengeki Daisy
Akatsuki no Yona [i really like Hak and Yona ^-^, always waiting for their scene also]
The One [well, it's more drama now...I think it's nearly ending]
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun [really cute characters]
Sukitte Ii Na Yo [hmm...cute lovers for me, they starting to get greedy for the attention of their love, I think...but it has a good story]
Yamato Nadeshiko [cute and funny characters]
Toshokan Sensou: Love & War [one of my favorite...I'm somewhat like Iku and Haruna (Koukou Debut) and I really like Dojo and Yoh as well ^-^]
Hapi Mari [also, one of my favorite...[I like CHiwa and Hokuto]
Skip Beat [also one of my favorite]

yup. that's the one shot where Otani and Kouzumi first met in omibuzu (did i spell it right? ??? ) first met without really knowing it was them right? (i really love fateful encounters  ).
and oh, a fan of aya-sensei too? :o_o:
so far ive finished SLH and Super Darling. maybe once i get the free time ill read the others (haha, ive even bookmarked it *skip )
So much manga to read... *u*
I love Hapi Mari~
Yeah, Hapi Mari has a good story, characters and ending... :o_o:
I know~~ It's been a while since I read it though...
@Lizbrine I have actually read most of those. Akatsuki no yona and Akagami no shirayukihime are both favorites of mine. They need more chapters though.
@Hidden_Twilight its Umibozu actually. you were really close :=X: and yes, I am. Aya-Sensei's art is phenomenal and while her characters are kind of repeated in each series because she does the characters by harem types, they all have different elements. Barajou no Kiss (or Kiss of the Rose Princess) actually just finished up with its 40th chapter. Most of her series aren't as long as that, but they are all amazing ^_^
I feel kind of like a noob now... I don't know what you guys are talking about.. :crywithno:
its okay :bingo: we are just talking about a manga artist/author and her manga. Her stories are good and her artwork amazing. Here is a picture of her newest completed release Barajou no Kiss (kiss of the rose princess).
That artwork is so pretty!!
It really really is.
OH, HAVE A NEW ONE TO ADD TO THIS LIST. Its a gender-bender (i for some odd reason am really into gender switching stories. I don't know why :=X: ) called W Juliet. The coupling with cute and they have many couple type moments, even though they are not technically together. It adds enough fangirl moments to appease everyone even though it does have some 75 chapters.. Its completed though (and its not nearly as long as Ship beat! with its 209 and still going strong chapters.).
I love gender bender as well! I prefer the girl dress as boy though. Not sure why..
W Juliet has it both ways! The main heroine dresses as a man, and the male male dresses as a woman! :woohehe:

gender benders are awesome!! specially if it has romance in it. I just love it when the hero and heroine would fall in love with each other (without knowing that the other one is a guy/gal)
Yeah, and the whole "are they gay or straight ???" thing is super funny too. And reflecting on my previous post, I only now realize how many typing errors I had. :=X: sorry!
Oh I love that confusion! It's hilarious! :wahaha:
Indeed it is. One of my favorite things are traps because its like " Is this a girl, is this a guy? :noway: omg, nevermind don't care, their cute "
Cute manga update: Zettai Heiwa Daisakusen. Its about 20 chapters, and the main girl character is a massive Tsundere, and its super cute :shy:
I've read that manga too...it's interesting even though it has a few chapters, I'm satisfied with the story., :goodjob:
Yeah, while I like shorter mangas because they take less time to read, bigger projects are often more satisfying because you get to spend more time with the characters. Though certain ones have really slow development and everyone is just like "COME ON ALREADY JESUS" :fliptable: (pardon the language) It was kind of like that with Dengeki Daisy. Everyone I know was like "okay, you know who each other are, you both like each other, SO GET TOGETHER ALREADY!!!!!!!!" :crywithno:
I knowww!!! Gengeki Daisy just took too damn longgg!!!
The over-all story is excellent, but development takes too long. Its probably the only draw back to the whole story. I love Teru and Kurosaki as a couple, but both of them are extremely dense.
I agree, the density makes it less exciting a story to read.
I haven't finished reading that one
I'm behind on it again as well...
i just read it last night. i cant wait for the next chapter hurhurhur *skip :woohehe:
I should go find it again :swt:
Love so Life!!!
The twins are so cute, relationship between Matsunaga and Shiharu is cute too (and pure)
Nukoduke is cute because of the half cat, half human (an experiment).
I loved Kaichou-wu-maid sama and Platinum Garden!! :touched:
true its awesome, but it wasn't the cutest I ever read by far o_o
Ah found it
Gakuen Babysitters!!! :cheer: :cheer:
*skip *skip *skip
Kaichou wa maid-sama was quite cute, I agree with that
