Title: How-To Vidoes for Editors: taking requests
Post by: verdandi on December 19, 2013, 20:35
I'm finally making some editor how-to videos like I've been promising, but I don't remember all the ones I've said I'd do.  Here's my list so far:

Typesetter tutorials:  http://forum.ourtranscendence.com/index.php?topic=4684.0 (http://forum.ourtranscendence.com/index.php?topic=4684.0)
Centering text
Using Nexus Font
Using Typesetterer
Adding textures to text
Type tool presets

Cleaner tutorials:
Using screentones
Using the pen tool for redrawing
Perfect cloning incl. healing brush
Using actions
Leveling/Dodging/Burning
Auto cleaning

If you have any you'd like me to make, please request here! I'll eventually do one for Topaz Denoise, but I'm still getting used to the new version of it so it's not on the immediate list.

Edit: I'm striking them off as I make them.

OoOoOoh.
This might go under cloning/redrawing but... Sally's been asking me how to use the Heal tool. Maybe a tutorial for that as well? (When I was learning, it didn't click right away either. LOL.)

Nope, I find that it takes up the most time for me, too.  Krissy has an "auto clean" tutorial that works...sometimes.  I can do my own video of that explaining it (she has subtitles) a little better, if you want. Like when to use it, how to avoid overdoing it, etc.
