Title: While translating...
Post by: Ulzzang on March 15, 2012, 17:20
While translating, is it necessary to note which speech bubbles belong to who?
Like...

Person A: Bla
Person B: Hey
Person C: Hello
Person A: Hi

or can you just do:

"Bla"
"Hey"
"Hello"
"Hi"

?

you can do both, as long as it is clear that it is a bubble, a sfx, or osmething like that.

I attached a sample translation of mine. I don't even specify who says what. If it gets confusing, the typesetter will just ask me (but so far nobody EVER did, so I guess it works fine). The only thing I use is:
wordwordword for speech bubble
[wordwordword] for thought bubble

Oh and label the general boxes. That would be VERY helpful
