LOL well I just got a new program to organize my desktop view from my dear friend >< so I wanted to show to you guys how my desktop looks like! That program is awesome! If you want to know what it is just ask me LOL

Here is how it looks like normally:

Yup! And you can also change the color and opacity of the fence >< When my friend showed me his desktop I was like "OMG HOW DID YOU DO THAT THINGY?!" I haunted him down just to get it xD

I do have a cool feature though: double screen (and double background). I have an extra monitor attached to my laptop, creating a HUGE desktop. This is the only double background I have at the moment though, I'm picture-poor :crywithno: <-- has no avatar because of that. (If anyone knows a site with good (manga) pictures(/wallpapers)/wishes to donate me pictures(/wallpapers) (preferably with a 1440 x 900 resolution :o_o:) please let me know  :bow:)

Haha!  I try to reduce clutter by throwing everything into "untitled folders"...unfortunately, that just leaves me with disastrous folders!

I used to have a vista but my brother changed it to XP :touched: he said that xp is better for gaming :crywithno: and my wallpaper... she's a character from Cabal and I don't know who she is o__O

well I'm here so i might as well jump in, i recently downloaded window 7 for my pc and yes it is way better then vista and every aspect. it's what we came to know and love from xp but update with vista appearance it's a magnificent Os and i recommend it to anyone who is tired of vista. ok back on topic lol i have not had much time of customizing this version of my pc so its pretty normal right now don't get me wrong it's still wonderful but it doesn't have my personal touch so i can't show you right now. what i can do is show you some of my old desktop customization

also to see the image bigger right click and select view image but I'm assuming everybody knows this.

May I ask how did you do the clock and the other goodies? =O

glad you like it, there's quite a few apps that goes into the customization but for the clock and other doodads i believe i used rainmeter http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/58074 (http://customize.org/rainmeter/skins/58074), it's a really nifty app once you get used to it. the docks is either rocketdock or startdock not completely sure sorry my memory fails me alot.

Take a screenshot of your desktop, there's one special button on your keyboard that makes screenshots ;) On mine there's written "PrtSc" <.< Paste it in Paint or whatever art program you have... save it... then upload on the net (photobucket, imageshack) and then post it here...

Yup! Press Print Screen it should be at the top of your keybord if you are using a desktop.

Then open paint or photoshop and simply past it on a new image. Save it as png/jpeg and upload it on a image uploader website then give you the link or somthing :D

I was about to create one of these topics and then I found it xD. Anyways here is my desktop, all nice and clean! xD...

At the moment I have a wallpaper of Rukia. However, I have an application that randomly swaps my background every hour or so from a set of wallpapers I downloaded to keep my desktop ever so fresh! The sleeping Panda is an application called Launchy that helps me launch my applications. You can think of it kind of like the Start Menu Vista search, but I think it's quicker and you can constrain your search to be only certain folders (like applications or other files).

If everyone anyone has used a mac, then they would know about the dock like thing. That is called RocketDock, as someone mentioned earliar. I put some common applications and folders here! Lastly if you look to the right you'll see some very low opacity gadgets. Those are for weather and calender which darken when you highlight!

That's about it!

That's what I do. I never use the desktop, because usually I have so many windows open it is a pain to even use the "show desktop" function, for later, I would have to maximize them again.

You can customize the name, color, transparency, size and placement of each "fence". I personally find it really neat! And when you double click anywhere on your desktop the fences will "hide" themselves vise/versa. XD
