I really want to help transcendence.. I want to be a QCer but i am definitely not experienced. i am good at english  :bingo: but i think being a QCer isn't just about checking grammars right? what do QCers need to do rather than checking grammars? because i trust my english abilities.. but I REALLY WANT TO HELP.. PLEASE EXPLAIN FURTHER!  :o_o: P.S. i am a student but i will try my best if i have the chance..

Basically:  QCers check the chapters after they've been edited to ensure the quality of the releases. like they check for typoes and dust etc.

If you want to help......maybe you should sign up to be a PR? since all PR do is to read and correct grammar of the raw translations given by translations.......

A more detailed explaination would be:
Well QC (quality checker) is a rather vague term, and is used to mean different things depending on the group.

Some use QC to mean they are checking the quality of the translation.
Some use QC to mean they are checking the quality of the cleaning.
Some use QC to mean they are checking the quality of the edited english.
And some use QC to mean many or even all of the above.

For the most part though, QCers check the very final draft to approve it for release- making sure there aren't any typos, or mistakes in cleaning and ordering. But you should ask the scanlation team in question what they are specifically looking for.

To shorten Icey's answer Gianna, QCers are hard to come by because they need a bit more experience than others.
However, if you know how to "edit" ie, have a good grasp of photoshop, and if you can "proofread" ie, have a good grasp of the english language and know how to fix language errors in the text, we could help prepare you.
As long as you're dedicated and willing to give time, you could join.
But, please read some tutorials first. Just google it!  :hi:

But we actually ARE recruiting PRs. PM me your email and I'll send you some testing.
If you pass, we'll add you in our team as a proofreader ^^
