Yep, it finally came out... after almost half a year of waiting!
So did anyone watched it yet? I did! I have to say I enjoyed it. The animation and music was nice. However, the things that bugged me were:
1- Why wasn't even the song Black Rock Shooter by Miku in there? o_o" I was waiting for it to kick in but it never did, except for the piano version at the end which didn't last very long. But I wasn't that surprised lol.
2- The story wasn't really explained in depth. Why was Black Gold Saw fighting with Black Rock Shooter in the beginning? Why did they show Strength standing there doing nothing? And in the ending...it looked like it's repeating itself but this time it's with Yuu. So basically more questions were asked than answered.
3- It was so short... 50 minutes was nothing! Before I knew it, I was already half done the show! They should really, like seriously make a second OVA or even better, bring out that damn anime series already (6 episodes is better than nothing)!
Still, I can't neglect the fact that I did enjoy watching it... I want to re-watch it again lol
The thing is that everyone who waited for this to come out expected a lot... so when it came out we were all like "ah... I expected better stuff. Huke I am dissapointed!"
Anyway I still hope you to watch it if you haven't. It was still entertaining for me so try it out!

LOL I didn't mean to make it sound disappointing at all! The points that I pointed out were the few things that made people sad about the OVA. The trailer for that OVA just attracted the wrong viewers if you ask me. Everyone expected badass chicks fighting all the time and not some friendship story between highschool students. If you were expecting a lot... blame that trailer because it was misleading. XD
The story of Black Rock Shooter is about how friendship is important and what would happen if this friendship was to be torn apart. How far one would go to restore this friendship back to how it was. The OVA is not bad, it's just that they left so much unanswered question that make people ranging for an anime or second OVA.
The animation and fightings scene are still really good to me:

ME ME! I watched it! it was kind of unexpected. like icey said, i expected more fighting. but hell. it was a heartwarming story. ~_~
The trailer was misleading in the first place and attracted the wrong audience lol.
BRS' summary on its official website kind of told us that the story will be based around friendship and not fighting all the time. I wouldn't base on the fanarts either since they are fanarts. Fans draw what they want to see and that is BRS not Mato Kuroi. LOL

Yeah the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku sings Black Rock Shooter. The PV and song was very popular when it came out that's why they decided to make a show out of it. First they decided to make a 12 episodes anime then reduced it to 6 episodes and finally decided to just make it a 52 minutes OVA. >.>

The ending isn't bad...it's just...doesn't satisfy us :/ They should make it longer.

Uh... *cough* On topic. Unsatisfying ending = Bad ending. It made me feel like 50 minutes of mah LIFE was wasted. But if you've got that time to kill, you should watch it cuz the animation's just that amazing.
I think it was targeted more to guys with a thing for lolis and girls with a thing for friendship tho.
