Okay well, I guess I should say a bit about myself huh?
So, I'm a 26 year old seme girlie from eastern Australia (ohhh ~ I feel like such an old maid whenever I say my age :haix:) and my real name is Erica, but I'm often known by Eri, Eri-chan, Eriberri or Berry. I don't really mind which you use, s'all good. :)
I'm currently single but the love of my life is my sweeeeet little dog Angelo - he's a red mini-duchshund x standard-duchshund "puppy"with beautiful yellow eyes. :)
On the job front I'm self-employed as a writer, occasionally taking on other work if I need it. I enjoy my lifestyle, it's pretty relaxed and I'm getting to do something I love. Other then that I guess I'm also pretty creative - my dad is an artist so maybe I picked it up from him? I dunno, but unfortunately my abilities with drawing and painting don't translate well to the tablet or mouse (I really wish they did, maybe I just need more practice?). Anyway, I like a lot of artsy things!
I suppose I'm rather prone to obsessing too; especially over certain yaoi pairings. Yes, I'm a rather large yaoi fangirl ~ It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside, amongst other things. :wahaha:
What else..?
I loooove music with loud, raw guitars and a strong beat. Particularly Finnish Heavy Metal and old school J-rock like Luna Sea, X Japan and Malice Mizer! I'm not really a big fan of American metal bands though (with perhaps 1 or 2 exceptions) and I REALLY dislike growling. Sad thing is, a bunch of those growlers have really hot normal singing voices and they rarely use them! So sad.
I'm also a major gamer girl - a perfect game for me being anything by Bioware or with a similar "formula" to what they use. For a game to be a truly memorable experience [for me] it has to have the right balance of storyline, characterization, hack 'n' slash and personalization. Probably because of this I get sick of MMORPG's quite quickly (that and I really hate grinding).
I think I'm generally a pretty open-minded person. Though I definitely have strong opinions of my own, I like hearing things from other people's viewpoints. I think we can learn a lot by just listening to each other a little more! :D

Okay, a few bad things about me!
I have a really bad short-term memory! Sometimes I forget what I'm saying in the middle of a sentence which is really annoying, and often embarrassing.
I'm a perfectionist. It's definitely a double-edged sword, but I'm glad for it anyway.
I often rant. Oh you didn't notice? :P
I have a pretty short attention span. I blame computer technology for it. :D

ANYWAY, After that essay I just wanted to say I'm really looking forward to working with some of you and getting out some great manga!

Glad to see you're feeling the Bioware love! <3 Mass Effect series is my fave but Dragon Age Origins is pretty fun too - some nice twists that Bioware does so well! I won't give anything away, but most people get a big shock at the end of DA. Oh and DA2 comes out next year. :)
And yeh, I'm a seme girl. I can't uke even if I wanted to! So.. I don't gel with "normal" guys - I tend to freak them out a bit when they discover where I'm at. :woohehe:

Well I guess you could call my lifestyle 'relaxed', although it does have its moments of baad stress - like when you get writers block with a crucial deadline close by. Sometimes it's really hard to get rid of writers block too. That and I tend to stress easily.
Actually I left school at the start of year 10 for illness reasons; ended up doing my certificate at the end of the year after a year without any study or knowledge of what the others had learned.. and still managed to pass (don't ask me how).
School was a really bad time for me anyway - being the top of my year in English every year and in all the other top classes meant there was a massive workload and a lot of expectation. That and we had some really bad teachers that would send notes home over the smallest thing. Add to that my 2 best childhood friends moved away during the hardest time for me.. It was not nice.
Apparently no more then a year after I left a whole bunch of other kids left too because things just got so bad with those idiot teachers. :haix:
So basically what I wanted to say with that is.. I totally 100% understand your stress Catriona! It's probably what made me seek out the kind of lifestyle I have now.
As for yaoi, I'm a really picky fan too!
I've known some girls that are like 'who cares who's with who, as long as it's yaoi!' and I've wondered where to start on telling them how very wrong that is. Good yaoi is like a fine wine ~ containing very select ingredients that need to be savoured ~ you don't just chuck any old junk in there! :bingo:

I am sold, someone finally calling themselves a gamer! While Bioware makes solid games, I still have more of a soft spot for the JRPG's. Especially something like the Kingdom Hearts series ^^; When I finally finish school this term, I am going to buckle down and finally play Final Fantasy XIII.
Ooo but a new Golden Sun is finally announced as well, one of my favourites as well xD... So many games to play when I'm done school I will permenately be in heaven. Especially with Starcraft II just on the horizon ;D!
