Title: Mangas that have great beginings but start being not so good
Post by: harimeexD on June 24, 2010, 00:26
What mangas do you think have like, the best begining volumes but start being endlessly continuaative and repetetive; never-ending? ???

I think only Naruto and Bleach [Pokemon, but its an anime] that can pull off a stunt like that, going on and on and on. :e0765523:
Shugo Chara's as good as dead. :dignose:

But something like Chocolat seemed interesting, so I read on. But it started to become all fuzzy.  :omg:

These mangas make me puky after they kill themselves like that. :vomit:

So what mangas do YOU think is mexmerizing at first but leaves you with something like a bad aftertaste?  :hmmm:

Something like... Koi Hirari.
And most definitely Ouran.  :vomit:

Hey kiddo, it's Mom!  :hi:

There are a whole host of mangas with good starts and crappy endings (or at least heading that way)  One that I feel is dragging is
Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu.  Skip Beat's good, but the current Danger Siblings arc is killing me.  Tokyo Crazy Paradise was also good, but the ending was lackluster.  This prevents me from buying a lot of mangas, the drag + cost = expensive.

:noway:

Mommy, you've been neglecting me!!! Again...  :'(
No, OHSHC is definitely going to have a really crappy ending.
As is VK. I'm tired of typical endings, too. Suki ga ita was utterly predictable
(even though I still cried. *COUGH)

I agree about OHSHC and VK.  Lost interest in both animes (haven't read both mangas).  The longer something is dragged on the harder for the mangaka to finish a story?  Or how about stories that are all exciting and then they fall off a cliff?  The end.

:noway:

lol!
Ouran IS dragging though. It's the same for VK.
Even though I love both, they need to end. Bisco would earn more if she moved on.

D. gray man got me on there for a while. and then it started getting kind of boring and slow....so i skipped about ten chapters, read the newest ones, and went back again.

when it gets boring, just ditch it for a while~ and then u'll find that the world is a beautiful place...

Anything that drags. But that just means the reader needs a break or needs to read/watch it less often.

True. But, that's why there are other series to read and extra stories at the end sometimes.  :hi:

I hate mangas that has a good story (at first) but after few chapters and volume it'll turned out to be a bad one..  :crywithno: ...
I do like sad and happy endings but if the story line went bad halfway.. I will stop reading it..

Ao no exorcist.
History's strongest disciple kenichi
Glass mask
Wolf guy
Holyland
HunterXhunter

But still, I keep on reading them. I just wait for a while, and come back to reading them ^^"  (That's my "anti-ennui" technique !! xD)
